Mohamed Salah previously named Kevin De Bruyne, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the three fellow footballers he would love to play with.

The Egyptian King has just signed a new two-year deal with Liverpool, putting to bed rumours of any potential exit.

With 243 goals and 112 assists to his name with the Reds, and a second Premier League title on the horizon as Liverpool continue to lead the pack, Salah will undoubtedly go down in the annals of history as one of the Premier League's greatest ever players.

However, it's an accolade that he will share alongside the likes of De Bruyne and Ronaldo, who have each made their own impact on the top-flight with their respective Manchester clubs.

Meanwhile, Messi will go down as one of the greatest ever players the world has ever seen - with eight Ballon d'Ors, 12 league titles and four Champions Leagues across his stints with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Inter Miami.

Speaking in 2023 about the players that he would love to share the pitch with, Salah told Sky Sports: "Messi or Ronaldo, but if I pick one in the Premier League then I'd choose Kevin.

So I'll get straight to it and let you all know that these will be my final months as a Manchester City player.

Messi and Ronaldo, on the other hand, are considered as the two pre-eminent players of the modern era and regularly contest the greatest of all time debate.

Ronaldo spent six years at Manchester United between 2003 and 2009, before returning for one last dance with the club in 2021, following successful spells with Real Madrid and Juventus.

At the age of 40, the Portuguese forward is still going strong in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Nassr.
