Mohamed Salah has shared the career-changing advice he received from Arsenal legend Arsene Wenger.
Salah is enjoying a standout season with the Reds, playing a pivotal role in pushing Arne Slot's team to the cusp of the Premier League title.
Interestingly, it was former Gunners manager Wenger who Salah credits for elevating his game.
In an interview with TNT Sports, ex-Reds star Steve McManaman asked Salah if the ability to score decisive goals was what set good players apart from great ones.
"I think so," Salah said.
"I think I got that advice from Arsene Wenger in the past.
If you stay focussed, maybe you will have one chance."
Salah also delved into his encounters with Premier League defenders, saying he avoids retaliation and just focuses on the next chance, as per the Mirror.

"If some of them [opposing defenders] try to trash talk, I don't like to engage," he said.
"I think this is my best season because I make the players around me better as well, that is what I feel."
Salah's stellar form has thrust him into Ballon d'Or conversations for 2025, with Wenger among those advocating for his candidacy.
Regardless, Salah will be back in action when Liverpool welcome Newcastle United to Anfield for a crucial Premier League encounter on Wednesday night, with kick-off set for 8.15pm.
