Former Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann has identified Omar Marmoush as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Salah is in the final year of his contract at Liverpool and it remains to be seen whether the forward will sign a new deal or leave on a free transfer.

It comes after Hamann's former Liverpool teammate Jamie Carragher backed Salah to sign a new deal and remain at Anfield so he can cement his legacy by breaking as many records as possible.

Salah currently sits joint-ninth on the list of all-time Premier League goalscorers alongside Jermain Defoe and Carragher believes he will want to get as high up that list as possible(
