Mohamed Salah sends Liverpool message as new contract imminent
It has been a busy week off the pitch for Liverpool with news of a breakthrough regarding Mohamed Salah's contract
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah continues to showcase his dedication extending his playing career as he took to social media to update supporters.
The Egyptian has faced uncertainty throughout the campaign, with his contract due to expire at the end of the season, but despite the speculation he has been a key member of Arne Slot's side.
However, on Tuesday, there was a positive update regarding the 32-year-old as it was revealed that he is on the verge of a new two-year deal.
The Premier League's top goalscorer has helped fire the Reds to an 11-point lead at the top-flight summit, going into the final seven games of the season after netting 27 goals this term.

Salah has been all smiles in the pictures during their preparations to face West Ham United and has continued to showcase his commitment to supporters, as he has done for a number of seasons, on social media.
Taking to his Instagram story, the Egyptian posed in his home gym with a weighted plate in front of the mirror on a purple exercise mat.
After a difficult few weeks, the Reds will have their focus on ensuring that nearest challengers Arsenal cannot make up ground on them.
The Gunners host Brentford on Saturday and could reduce their deficit to Liverpool to just eight points before the Hammers visit Anfield.
However, they will be buoyed by the news that both Salah and Virgil van Dijk, who revealed that there had been positive discussions over an extension in light of the defeat at Craven Cottage, are edging towards signing fresh terms on Merseyside.
"There is progress, yes," Van Dijk said after the Fulham game before replying "I don't know, we'll see" when pressed on whether that meant an agreement would be reached.
He added: "Listen, these are internal discussions, and we'll see.
"I love the club, I love the fans and they were there for us again (at Craven Cottage).
"We wanted to reward them but I ask them to be there again on Sunday (against West Ham) and make the stadium an amazing venue like always for us."
