Fulham sensation and Liverpool transfer target Antonee Robinson has opened up about the most challenging opponents he's faced in the Premier League – curiously excluding Reds superstar Mo Salah.

The US international, despite being eyed for a potential switch to Anfield just last month, interestingly left Mohamed Salah and Arsenal's Bukayo Saka off his list of players who have given him a particularly hard time on the pitch.

Robinson singled out Leon Bailey of Aston Villa and talents like Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Man City's Bernardo Silva as his toughest assignments instead, despite expectations that many players would choose the Premier League's top scorer, Salah.



He can take it on both sides so that's tough.

"I feel like most people expect you to say Salah or Saka but while I've been in the Prem, most of the time I've played well against them.

"It's usually players like Cole Palmer.

It's the same thing with Bernardo Silva.

"During our game against City, we should have won there.

His remarks concerning Salah emerged following his commendable performance in Fulham's 2-2 draw at Anfield in the Premier League back in December.

Speaking to Match of the Day post-match, Robinson reflected positively on his duel with the Egyptian star, despite acknowledging moments of difficulty.

At the same time, most of the games that I've played against Salah or Saka, even if I've played really well, they'll still pop up and get a goal or an assist.

"Whether they were up against me at that moment or not, they'll get something and they're the most annoying players."
