According to reports, Saudi Arabian clubs are becoming resigned to Mohamed Salah extending his stay at Liverpool.

The Egyptian is into the final six months of his contract on Merseyside as the Reds face of losing the 32-year-old on a free in the summer.

"There is a feeling we are being used in contract negotiations this time," an advisor told the outlet.

Saudi Pro League title-chasers Al-Hilal are said to be interested in the forward with the offer reportedly in the region of £65million for two seasons.

Former Everton forward Anthony Gordon emerged as a shock transfer target for Liverpool in the summer.

The Reds were linked with the England international during Newcastle United's battle to steer clear of breaching the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability.
