Two examples are Andy Robertson, whose deal ends in 2026, and Kostas Tsimikas who has two years remaining on his contract.
With the futures of both left-backs in doubt, it seems like Liverpool are keen on keeping one player in particular.
Robertson has struggled at times this season, meanwhile, Tsimikas has admitted to a ‘tricky period’ under Slot.
With that being said, it seems like the Reds have already made their minds up about who they want to keep at left-back – with Roberston likely to remain at Anfield over Tsimikas.

That is according to Gregg Evans from The Athletic, who stated:
“His contract expires in the summer of 2026 and Robertson is in no rush to leave.
Finding a buyer for Kostas Tsimikas is more likely than moving on Robertson.”
Tsimikas has stepped up for Liverpool in big moments this campaign, particularly at Nottingham Forest away.
If Tsimikas is to exit Merseyside this summer, Liverpool need to make left-back reinforcements a major priority during the transfer window.
The Reds though do seem to recognise the problem, with Liverpool targeting a move for Jorrel Hato this summer – someone who could play as a much-needed backup and understudy to Robertson.
