German football kit manufacturer adidas are rumoured to supply Liverpool for a third stint from the 2025/26 season onwards(Image: ilbusca via Getty Images)
Rumours continue to build suggesting German manufacturer adidas will be taking custody of Liverpool kits from Nike next season onwards.
A latest look at the 'leaked' home shirt for the 2025/26 campaign has displayed two different features than seen previously.
It was first reported back in April that the club were going to switch kit manufacturers once Nike's five-year agreement - said to be worth around £60m per season - was up, but Liverpool have so far declined to comment on whether this will be the case when asked.
The suggestion has been that the club would return to adidas - who produced kits at Anfield between 1985-1996 and 2006-2012 - in a new lucrative, long-term deal.
First leaks had produced images of a darker 'strong red' shirt made by adidas featuring a white Liverpool crest, sponsorship logos and the manufacturers' iconic three stripes atop the sleeves.

Last month a second leak expanded on this, suggesting the design will take inspiration from the shirt worn by the likes of Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Xabi Alonso in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons.
White lines along the side panels would give the kit that retro feel, with the exception of a rounded red collar replacing the 06/08 variant's folded collar.

Now a third leak from Footy Headlines has explained two further changes claimed to arrive when adidas reportedly take over.
The first is the actual colour of the kit itself, which instead of the deeper 'strong red' is said to be 'strawberry red' closer in colour to the one Nike made for the current campaign.
The second relates to the rounded collar again, which is now said to have a white bar atop the shoulders and around the back of the neck, connecting to the side panel lines and three sleeve stripes.

And the last comes down to the fine patterning details on the shirt itself.
A 'subtle debossed' fabric will be used on all adidas authentic kits for the 2025/26 campaign, it is explained.
Other leaks from the same source have suggested next season adidas will produce a 'wonder white' away strip with black and red accents for Liverpool, as well as a 'sea green' and white third kit.
It remains to be seen how accurate this supposed leak is.
It is important to note that while the pictures claim to show what Liverpool's kit will look like next season, the club will not confirm anything until the official launch next year.
