The pictures, shared by The Anfield Buzz, reveal the Champions League version of the new home kit, featuring the Adidas logo and Liverpool crest on either side of the chest, and the club's sponsor Standard Chartered prominently displayed below.

The sleeves showcase the iconic three stripes associated with Adidas, while the UEFA logo displays the number 6 - representing Liverpool's six European Cup victories - above the UEFA Foundation for Children logo.

The rumoured new home kit closely echoes the iconic Adidas design from their previous partnership between 2006 and 2008.

This nostalgic nod to the Reds' past successes, including their 2007 Champions League final appearance, has been warmly welcomed.

Commenting on the renewed partnership, Liverpool's CEO Billy Hogan expressed: "Everyone at the club is incredibly excited to welcome adidas back into the LFC family.
