Despite earlier claims that Vitezslav Jaros was nearing the end of his Liverpool contract, the 23-year-old goalkeeper is not set to leave on a free this summer.

The Czech stopper made his senior debut for Liverpool this season and was often listed among players with deals ending in 2025, mainly due to outdated info from sources like Transfermarkt.

However, Jaros actually signed new terms when he went on loan to Austrian side Sturm Graz in early 2024.



Georgian keeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is set to join from Valencia, which will only add more competition.

Next season, Liverpool could have four goalkeepers fighting for limited spots: Alisson Becker, Caoimhin Kelleher, Mamardashvili, and Liverpool Jaros.

His contract runs until 2026, so Liverpool may look to sell.

Jaros, who spent much of the 2024/25 season as third-choice, could also push for more playing time elsewhere

But with his new contract in place, Liverpool controls the situation.

Jaros made his senior debut in October, coming off the bench in a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace after Alisson got injured

Later that month, he started in the Carabao Cup and helped Liverpool beat Brighton 3-2.

As Liverpool plans its summer moves, Liverpool Jaros remains a key name to watch.
