Anthony Gordon is likely to miss the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool this month after being sent off in the FA Cup against Brighton, but Newcastle has not ruled out submitting an appeal.
"It looked harsh, but we'll have to analyze it properly," Eddie Howe said about a possible bid to get it overturned.
While Gordon looked baffled at the decision to send him off, it seems unlikely that Newcastle would win any appeal should one be lodged.
