It’s the morning after the night before and Newcastle are in no mood to stop celebrating their Carabao Cup win - but an open top bus parade will have to wait.
And attention has now turned to Newcastle taking the trophy back to the Toon and celebrating further with their supporters.
But an open top bus parade will not take place over the coming weeks, and looks more likely to tbe scheduled for the end of the season.

They’ve obviously got a season to continue with and open top bus celebrations more often than not tend to be at the end of the season because the season is finished and you’re celebrating the FA Cup final win or the Premier League win, your race is run to some extent.”

I would imagine if they won the League Cup, Newcastle fans would be out in their droves celebrating their team and cheering them along the pathway wherever the bus goes to.
