Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina was left stunned after finding out that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah had agreed terms to extend his stay at Anfield this morning.
The Egyptian is now set to stay at Anfield for the next two seasons.
All season long, the debate around Salah's future at Anfield has raged on - the question on everyone's minds has been will he or won't he sign?

Salah himself added more fuel to the fire when he stopped in the mixed zone in late November to say there had been no talks between himself and the club.

Finally, Liverpool have put that speculation to bed by tying the 32-year-old to the club for the next two seasons at least, by which time he will have spent a decade on Merseyside.
It is good news for the Reds, with whom he has recorded 243 goals and 111 assists but certainly not for the Premier League's opposition defenders who try their best to prevent him.
Even Aina, who primarily plays on the far flank to the Egyptian, gave a brilliant response to finding out Salah had agreed new terms, a sentiment that will be echoed throughout the top flight.
In the middle of recording a Snapchat as he entered Forest's training ground changing rooms this morning, a teammate shouted for Aina to pay attention to Sky Sports News' coverage of Salah and Liverpool's announcement.
"Has he signed?
Mohamed has signed again?," the Nigerian asked, before saying: "The league is finished!
It is dead!"
In disbelief, Aina continued: "He signed on?
F****** hell..."

The defender must not have seen there had been a breakthrough in talks earlier in the week given his reaction, but it speaks volumes about how feared Salah is by others in the division.

Aina regularly updates his followers on the social media platform from behind the scenes at Nottingham Forest, both at training and after games, but his latest reveal is the first time the Egyptian has been mentioned.
Still, this one example is a great testament Salah's powers and along with his 54 goal contributions so far in 2024/25, goes to show why Liverpool have made a further two-year commitment to a player who turns 33 this June.
