Liverpool transfer chiefs may have been handed a boost in their rumored chase for Eintracht Frankfurt's Omar Marmoush - as his current employers confirmed that they will "study" any they receive for the forward.
Speculation continues to abound when it comes to the future of the Egyptian with the Bundesliga outfit, who has caught the eye with his performances over the past couple of seasons.
According to The Athletic, Liverpool is among several Premier League sides keeping tabs on the marksman's availability.
That report claimed that Frankfurt expects Marmoush to potentially depart Deutsche Bank Park at the end of the current campaign.
Speaking to Egypt Independent, he said: "Omar Marmoush is the most important player in the team.
"We have not received any offers to sign the player, and all these reports are not true.
An Eintracht Frankfurt chief has spoken about the speculation over Omar Marmoush's long-term future.
Despite these remarks, he did appear to suggest that Frankfurt will listen to offers from interested parties in the future, adding: "What is certain is that Frankfurt has not received any official offers from these or any other clubs.
Previously, compatriot Marmoush has spoken about the purported interest in him from major European clubs as he insisted he is happy in Frankfurt.
