Paul Merson believes Liverpool will end Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes this weekend, having tipped the Reds to ‘rip Manchester City apart’.

Merson though isn’t getting his hopes up for his former side, insisting that the title race will be a foregone conclusion after this weekend’s games.

“A win for Liverpool here would be the end of Arsenal’s title hopes,” Merson predicted

“Once they beat City, I expect Liverpool to win against Newcastle and Southampton.
