Paul Scholes has eyed up several areas where Liverpool may look to strengthen(Image: YouTube/The Overlap)
Paul Scholes has highlighted six potential areas of concern for Liverpool - which includes a back-up goalkeeper and a new left-back.
The Reds have just been crowned Premier League champions but attention has turned to how they can go again.
Arne Slot's side have barely been challenged en route to winning the title.
Should he leave a sizeable void would need filling, albeit Georgian Giorgi Mamardashvili is about to move to the club.
Scholes has also tipped Liverpool to pursue more bodies in midfield and add a new face at left-back, even though Andy Robertson has been a regular in that position for years.

He told TNT Sports: "I think they need to improve defensively.

"I think Slot would want a holding midfield player.
Also, I don’t think Federico Chiesa will be there next year so I think they might need at least two players up top although I do think they’ve got the best forwards in the league anyway."
