As more and more records tumble, he is being included in some lofty conversations, including the "greatest ever Premier League player" discussion — but while many believe he is now in a two-horse race with Thierry Henry, Paul Scholes has made another suggestion.
It's impossible not to take Salah's case seriously.
He recently became the first player in Premier League history to surpass 40 goal contributions in two separate seasons, he is into the all-time top 10 for both goals and assists, and he could end the current campaign with numerous lofty single-season honors as well.
One of those is the 20-assist record currently held by Henry.
But when it comes to the Premier League alone, it's no longer even controversial to mention the Egyptian as one of the best to ever do it.
That's despite the fact that Salah, like Henry, has not dedicated his entire career to the Premier League.

Scholes went on to draw attention to Giggs' 13 league titles, expressing doubt over whether Henry's tally of two (and no Champions League successes with Arsenal) qualified him for the top honor.
