Alisson Becker and Peter Schmeichel
Peter Schmeichel left Alisson Becker stunned just minutes after his heroic performance for Liverpool against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazilian was in inspired form as the Reds claimed a huge 1-0 victory at the Parc des Princes.
And while it was Harvey Elliott who scored the game’s only goal three minutes from time, it was Alisson who stole the show in Paris.
The 32-year-old produced a number of big saves in either half to keep out Luis Enrique’s side.
In the immediate aftermath of the game, Alisson was interviewed by Schmeichel in the Parc des Princes tunnel, and the Liverpool star was taken by surprise when the former Manchester United man revealed he saved nine shots during the live interview.

Reflecting on Alisson’s performance, Reds boss Arne Slot said: “We’re the lucky ones, that’s clear for everyone.
“I think they were the much better team today, especially in the first half (when they had) three or four big, big chances.

“That’s why Alisson still had to make a lot of big saves.
