Liverpool have a potential advantage in their pursuit of Bournemouth duo, Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen.
The pair are among several players the club are watching ahead of what is expected to be a busy summer.
Liverpool put themselves six points away from winning the Premier League title with a 2-1 win over West Ham at the weekend.
The Reds, up until last month, were on course to win three trophies in Arne Slot’s first season at the club.
However, two unfortunate losses to PSG in the UEFA Champions League and Newcastle United in the League Cup final, narrowed their title quest to the Premier League this season.
Despite those disappointments, it remains a hugely successful season for a Liverpool team that many predicted would not even make the top four.
Slot’s success this season was achieved despite the club spending just £12.5 million on signing a new player.
Federico Chiesa, from Juventus, was the club’s only addition this season over two windows.
However, it is expected that Liverpool will be very active in the coming window, and two players that may arrive before transfer deadline day are Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerez.
Liverpool’s interest in the duo is well-recorded, and their quality is also apparent.
With the help of Huijsen and Kerkez, Bournemouth have become one of the surprise packages of this Premier League season.
Left-back Kerkez has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most creative defenders.
Manchester City are also said to be watching him.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Huijsen has become one of the most highly-sought players in Europe this season.
However, journalist David Ornstein has revealed that the Cherries may be forced to sell their players this summer-presenting a huge boost to Liverpool.
Speaking to US-based outlet NBC, Ornstein revealed why Bournemouth will need to sell players this summer.
“Why they need to sell players is because they spent so heavily on players,” the journalist revealed.
“(They have spent) £300m since Bill Foley, the US businessman, came into the club in December 2022?
