Arsenal can close that gap against Aston Villa this evening, while Bournemouth moved into the race for Champions League football with a 4-1 thrashing of Newcastle.

Arne Slot's men left it late, but they've got the three points they needed!

It looked as if it was going to be a tale of more dropped points, with the game against Brentford locked at 0-0 heading into the final few minutes.

But it was Drawin Nunez who was the hero.

The Uruguayan came off the bench to score twice in stoppage time.

That is a massive win for the Reds who extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points.

Arsenal must now beat Aston Villa to avoid slipping further off the pace.

HE'S DONE IT AGAIN!

LIKE LONDON BUSES!

Darwin Nunez has come off the bench and rescued Liverpool with two goals.

This one comes on the counter as Harvey Elliott is played in.

He rolls a pass to Nunez, who takes a touch and slams a strike into the roof of the net.

Liverpool are seven points clear of Arsenal.

WHAT A HUGE GOAL!

Darwin Nunez misses his fair share of chances, but he's popped up with what looks to be a last-gasp winner for Liverpool against Brentford.

The hosts clear a cross as far as Trent Alexander-Arnold.

He links up with Harvey Elliott and picks out Nunez in the box.

He keeps his calm to sweep the ball into the back of the net.

What a massive moment!

GAME OVER!

Palace are awarded a spot kick after Lukasz Fabianski brings down Eddie Nketiah.

Mateta is given the responsibility from the spot, and he just about squeezes his penalty under the Polish goalkeeper.

That sparks a mass exodus at the London Stadium.

Well, things have just got a whole lot harder for West Ham because they are down to ten men.

Greek centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos has been handed his marching orders.

He was already on a booking and has now received his second.

Graham Potter's side are edging towards their first league defeat under the new boss.

THE FOXES ARE IN DESPERATE TROUBLE!

Adama Traore has doubled Fulham's lead, and Leicester are on course for seven straight league defeats.

It's a good move from the Cottagers as Emile Smith Rowe finds Harry Wilson on the left.

He dinks a cross to the far post, and Traore shows amazing composure to side foot a volley into the bottom corner.

Ruud van Nistelrooy then takes Bilal El Khannous off, which leads to chants of 'you don't know what you're doing' from the home end.

It's all going wrong!

Right, the teams are in from the Emirates for the late kick-off.

For Arsenal, it's two changes from the 2-1 win over Tottenham in midweek, but one of those is a huge blow.

William Saliba misses out, so Thomas Partey moves to right-back and Jurrien Timber moves into the centre.

Raheem Sterling also comes out of the team for Gabriel Martinelli.

For Villa, there is one change from the 1-0 win over Everton.

Ian Maatsen replaces Lucas Digne.

But the big news for the Villans is that new signing and former Gunner Donyell Malen is on the bench.

Jhon Duran's ban is also over, so he is among the substitutes.

Arsenal: Raya, Partey, Timber, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Rice, Merino, Odegaard, Martinelli, Trossard, Havertz

Subs: Neto, Tierney, Kiwior, Zinchenko, Sterling, Butler-Oyedeji, Kabia, Kacurri

Aston Villa: Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Mings, Maatsen, Kamara, Onana, Rogers, Tielemans, Ramsey, Watkins

Subs: Olsen, Duran, Buendia, Digne, Malen, Gauci, Nedelijkovic, Bogarde, Bailey

JUST LIKE THAT, WE HAVE ANOTHER ONE!

Raul Jimenez switches a ball from left to right into the box for Harry Wilson.

The Welshman does well to flick it back across goal.

Emile Smith Rowe gambles at the far post and throws himself at it.

It's brave, and he gets his rewards.

FINALLY, WE HAVE A GOAL!

Palace launch a long ball up the pitch that Ismaila Sarr flicks on for Eberechi Eze.

Eze plays it straight down the middle for Jean-Philippe Mateta.

The Frenchman drives to the edge of the box under no pressure and drills a low right-footed effort at goal.

It flies into the bottom corner, and the Eagles have the lead at the London Stadium.

Well, that is very unusual because every game in the Premier League is 0-0 after the first halves.

Liverpool are in danger of dropping more points as they are being held by Brentford at the Gtech.

Graham Potter's second home game as West Ham manager is against Crystal Palace, and that is also goalless.

And Leicester are looking to stop a run of six consecutive league defeats, and they are 45 minutes away from doing so.

Fulham hit the woodwork!

Alex Iwobi drifts in from the left and looks to bend one into the far corner.

It's a very good effort that beats the goalkeeper but clips the outside of the post and drops to safety.

Down the other end, Victor Kristiansen charges down the left, bundles his way into the box and just curls an effort wide of the far post.

Crossbar rocked!

Dominik Szoboszlai picks up possession and drives towards the Brentford box.

he takes aim from distance and slams in a shot.

It's an excellent effort that smacks off the woodwork and bounces away to safety.

What more can you say about Bournemouth, they've now beaten Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United, Manchester City and Newcastle United this season.

Two of those victories came away from home, with the latest a 4-1 demolition of the Toon at St James' Park.

The games at the Vitality saw them beat Arsenal, Tottenham and Man City.

They are most certainly right in the race for Champions League football.

Very lively start at the Gtech from both teams.

The hosts have looked particularly dangerous through Bryan Mbeumo, who has seen a shot saved by Alisson Becker.

Mikkel Damsgaard also missed a huge chance.

Down the other end, Mohamed Salah saw an opportunity snuffed out just before he pulled the trigger.

Right, after that crazy result at St James' Park, we are looking at the 3pm games.

At the Gtech, we have Brentford taking on Liverpool.

The big news there is that Diogo Jota is absent from the matchday squad.

At the King Power, it's Leicester taking on Fulham, with the hosts in desperate need of three points.

And Graham Potter is looking for back-to-back home victories as West Ham manager.

Crystal Palace are the visitors to the London Stadium.

There goes the final whistle, and what an incredible win for Bournemouth.

Justin Kluivert rattled in his second hat-trick of the season as the Cherries inflicted the second-heaviest defeat of the Eddie Howe Toon era at St James' Park.

Andoni Iraola's side were on peak form from the start, and deservedly take three points back to the south coast.

For Newcastle, it was a shocking day at the office, and the run of nine consecutive wins is over.

THIS IS INCREDIBLE!

Bournemouth have destroyed Newcastle at St James' Park, dealing out one of the heaviest defeats of the Eddie Howe era.

The Magpies throw everyone forward and get caught on the counter-attack.

The ball is worked into Milos Kerkez, and he lashes an excellent left-footed strike into the far corner.

WOW!

IT'S A TREBLE!

Justin Kluivert is leaving with the matchball.

It's his second hat-trick of the season, but unlike the last one, there was no penalties.

The Dutchman finds some space on the edge of the box, and he curls a fantastic shot into the corner.

Newcastle's winning run is over!

The Cherries have the ball in the back of the net again, but it's not going to count.

A cross comes in and is sent to the far post, Sandro Tonali lashes it away.

The Cherries recycle, and Dango Ouattara stabs home.

However, VAR has a look, and the ball had gone out of play when Tonali cleared it.

We have the starting XIs in from the Gtech.

Andy Robertson has been dropped by Arne Slot after the 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.

Kostas Tsimikas takes his place at left-back.

However, there is no Diogo Jota in the matchday squad.

Apart from that, there are no changes for the Reds.

For Brentford, there is one change from the 2-2 draw against Manchester City.

Yehor Yarmoliuk replaces Vitaly Janelt.

Brentford: Flekken, Roerslev, Collins, Van den Berg, Lewis-Potter, Norgaard, Jensen, Yarmoliuk, Mbeumo, Damsgaard, Wissa

Subs: Valdimarsson, Henry, Schade, Carvalho, Mee, Konak, Maghoma, Ji-soo

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo, Diaz

Subs: Kelleher, Endo, Nunez, Chiesa, Elliott, Robertson, Quansah, Bradley

Interesting start for Fabian Schar as he tries to switch the ball across the pitch from right to left.

He produces a terrible pass that David Brooks brings down.

Brooks takes a shot and curls an effort at goal that Martin Dubravka holds.

That sums up Newcastle's performance so far.

One change for Newcastle at the start of the second half.

Sven Botman is off for Fabian Schar.

The former Swiss international takes his place as the right-sided centre-back.

That's the end of the first 45 minutes, and the Toon's run of nine consecutive wins is very much in danger.

Bournemouth have been the better team by miles, and they have a deserved lead through a Justin Kluivert double.

Bruno Guimaraes equalised for Newcastle, but the Toon's back four have been all over the place.

The Cherries are currently on course to move just one point behind Eddie Howe's men in the table.

THEY STRIKE AGAIN!

Dan Burn plays a poor pass into Bruno Guimaraes.

The Brazilian is robbed of possession, and the ball is rolled into Justin Kluivert.

He takes a touch and drills a low shot under Martin Dubravka.

He has now scored more goals at St James' Park than his dad did when he played for the Toon.

Another opportunity for Dango Ouattara.

He starts the move with a great piece of skill in midfield to get past Joelinton.

He then works a pass into Lewis Cook, who delivers a cross that Ouattara heads over the bar.

Down the other end, Bruno Guimaraes finds Anthony Gordon in the box, who rifles in a left-footed shot that just deflects wide.
