Erik ten Hag has said he 'denies' and 'ignores' Manchester United's 3-0 defeat to Tottenham.
The Red Devils were humbled by Spurs at Old Trafford at the end of September, with goals from Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke inflicting a damaging result on Ten Hag and his men, who ended the game with ten on the pitch.
But that is why Ten Hag says the result was meaningless - with Bruno Fernandes' red card later overturned, the Dutch coach says the defeat was not a fair reflection on his team.
"I deny that game," he said following United's 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce in the Europa League, and ahead of tomorrow's league clash with West Ham.
"I ignore that game against Spurs because we were downsized to ten with a 1-0 losing position, and then the red card was overturned, so I totally ignore that game, it is not a fair assessment of the team to take this into consideration.
"We didn’t have the chance to bounce back, but you can see this team is resilient and determined - against Brentford and in the two tough away games in Europe, this team has character and showed fighting spirit and determination to win games."
Ten Hag's Man United are 11th in the Premier League and the only English side still winless in European football this season, with the Red Devils 21st in the new Europa League format.
But perhaps he ignores tables too...

Leicester City manager Steve Cooper has held his hands up and accepted responsibility for the 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest this evening.
At half time, the match was tied at 1-1, with both sides well in the game, but the second half was all Forest, and Cooper was very honest in his post-match interview.
He said: "It's self-inflicted.
We just lost any sort of rhythm that we had.
"It's on us, we have to take responsibility for it, but we have to accept it.
"It's completely on us and me."

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo was overjoyed with his side's display against Leicester City.
The former Wolves and Tottenham boss had to watch the match from the press box due to a touchline ban, but he was very happy with what he saw from his side.
Speaking after the match, he said: "We did a good game.
"We were very stable and solid - I am delighted.
"It's important to see our fans enjoy and celebrate nights like this.
"The table isn't important.
"It's important how we do things, and how we continue to progress.
"The players are really committed to develop the ideas we have, and they have an excellent bond on and off the pitch."
He might say the table isn't important, but Forest are fifth in the league!

Chris Wood was named Man of the Match after helping Nottingham Forest beat Leicester City 3-1.
The New Zealand international scored twice in the second half to seal a huge three points for the Tricky Trees.
And after the match, he spoke to Sky Sports about the win.
He said: "I rely on service from my teammates, and they are delivering, which is great."
On Forest's season, he said: "It's all about accumulating as many points as possible, it's not about league position at this stage - there is still a long way to go in the season.
"Nuno tried to implement a lot last season, and we took bits from it and got better, but we were still conceding poor goals, but we've got that consistency now.
Finally, he was asked about his first goal, which was an excellent finish.
"You know exactly where the goal is, so sometimes, you don't even need to look.
"You just try to find the bottom corner, and that is what I've done.
It's about getting that half a yard to try and get it on target, and luckily, it went in."

The referee blows his whistle, and the away end erupts.
Nottingham Forest claim the spoils in the East Midlands derby, and they fully deserved it.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side opened the scoring through Ryan Yates' low strike.
Jamie Vardy swiftly equalised, and it was all square at half time.
However, the second 45 minutes turned into the Chris Wood show.
First, he picked up Elliot Anderson's pass and buried a low shot on the turn.
He then exploited Wout Faes' weak header to lob Mads Hermansen and move onto seven Premier League goals for the season.
He is unstoppable at the moment and Forest look like they could be the surprise package of the season.

The King Power has emptied out very quickly here.
At half time, it felt as if the match could go either way, but it was Forest who turned it up in the second half.
And they have seven minutes of added time to see out.

There will be no hat-trick for Chris Wood.
He is being replaced by Taiwo Awoyini.
He gets a standing ovation from the away end, and rightly so because Wood has all but sealed three points for his team in this East Midlands derby.

Ryan Yates should have two!
Again, Leicester fail to deal with a corner as Murillo' shot deflects across the box.
It runs perfectly for Yates.
But he smashes the ball over the bar from about three yards with his left foot.

HE'S DONE IT AGAIN!
Chris Wood moves onto seven Premier League goals for the season.
Matz Sels is put under pressure by Jamie Vardy and drills the ball up the pitch.
Wout Faes tries to head the ball back to his goalkeeper, but it's so weak.
Wood watches it onto his head and lobs Mads Hermansen with a lovely header.
Scott Minto: "It was allowed to bounce.
Wout Faes got there first, it wasn't a proper header back to the goalkeeper.
"Wood reads it and lifts the ball over Hermansen."

So close to 3-1!
Callum Hudson-Odoi carries the ball from the left, weaves his way into the box and unleashes a strike.
It bends and dips, but hits the post.
It comes back out for Elliot Anderson, who has never scored a Premier League goal, and he drills a shot just past the other post.

HE CAN'T STOP SCORING!
Harry Winks loses possession out on the left, and the ball comes to Callum Hudson-Odoi.
He finds Elliot Anderson, who picks out Chris Wood.
The striker has his back to goal, but turns and buries a wonderful low strike in off the post.
Wood is now level with Stan Collymore for Forest Premier League goals, while only Erling Haaland (18) has scored more non-penalty goals than Wood (16) since Nuno Espirito Santo's appointment in December 2023.
Scott Minto on talkSPORT: "The turn and the strike is in off the inside of the post.
"It's a wonderful strike, a wonderful finish."

Right, the second period of this East Midlands derby is underway.
Let us all hope for a similar spectacle to the opening 45 minutes.

Jamie Vardy is now the fourth-oldest player in Premier League to score in back-to-back games.
The Foxes striker is currently 37 and 288 days old.
The only players older were Teddy Sheringham (39y 350d), Ryan Giggs (39y 86d) and Graham Alexander (38y 28d).
So, he might be ageing, but it's like a fine wine rather than an old banger.

That's the end of an open and entertaining first 45 minutes.
Neither side have looked good at the back, but they've both looked dangerous going forward.
Ryan Yates gave the visitors the lead when he seized upon an awful James Justin clearance to slam a long-range low shot into the back of the net.
However, that lead didn't last long as Jamie Vardy pounced.
From there, Mads Hermansen made an unbelievable save to stop Forest re-taking the lead, but the Foxes have had chances as well.

Another good save from Mads Hermansen!
Anthony Elanga rattles a free-kick into the wall.
The ball drops out to the left of the pitch, and Callum Hudson-Odoi picks it up.
He drifts inside past two players and unleashes a strike towards the top corner that the Leicester goalkeeper tips wide.
The resulting corner is also cleared.

What a ridiculous save!
Mads Hermansen keeps his team level with an outrageous block.
Nottingham Forest swing a corner into the box, and Murillo's shot deflects to Nicolas Dominguez at the near post.
He is three yards from goal, and hits the ball as hard as he can, but Hermansen produces a stunning stop.
Scott Minto on talkSPORT said: "That was as good as a goal."

NOW, MR LEICESTER SCORES!
The hosts respond, and we have a cracker on our hands.
It's a nice move down the left that sees Harry Winks pick up possession near the byline.
He delivers an excellent cross towards the near post, and there is Jamie Vardy to poke beyond Matz Sels.
Scott Minto: "Brilliant movement getting in there for the goal.
"You need to see him between the sticks rather than out wide, and that is classic Vardy."

MR NOTTINGHAM FOREST STRIKES!
Ryan Yates puts the visitors into the lead, but what were Leicester doing?
From a Nottingham Forest corner, Facundo Buonanotte loses possession on the edge of the box.
Elliot Anderson picks it up, weaves into the area and rifles in a shot that is deflected as far as James Justin.
He has to clear the ball, but he prods it straight to Yates, who drills a sweet, crisp effort into the bottom corner from 25 yards.
Scott Minto on talkSPORT said: "Leicester have a couple of opportunities to get rid of it, they don't.
"James Justin's clearance is so poor, but Yates' technique is superb."

Caleb Okoli does well to snap in front of Elliot Anderson in midfield and feeds a pass into Facundo Buonanotte.
He takes aim and lashes in a shot that deflects behind.
The corner comes in from the Brighton loanee, and it causes absolute carnage.
However, Forest do manage to scramble it away.
But it's been a strong start from the hosts.

It's been a good start to the game for the hosts, who are dominating the ball in the early exchanges.
The atmosphere is also excellent, with both sets of fans contributing to it.
Of course, there are some interesting stories on the sidelines as well, with Steve Cooper playing the team that he took from the Championship to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, in the other dugout, there is no one.
This is because Nuno Espirito Santo is banned from the touchline after the FA found his behaviour against Brighton to be unsavoury.
He's watching the game in the press box this evening.

We are underway at the King Power Stadium after a minute's silence for Remembrance Day.
This is Leicester's last home game before November 11, so the whole of the King Power united to pay tribute to those lost in various wars over the year.
As always, a very poignant moment.
But that's done now, let's go!

Sky Sports have just shown a mascot race between Robin Hood and Filbert the Fox, and the result was an astonishing win for the Nottingham Forest representative.
Hood totally blew the home favourite away in a spring across the width of the King Power Pitch.
Obviously, it was an embarrassing moment for poor Filbert, but what is possibly worse is that Robin Hood was actually Jamie Carragher.
Carragher was never really known for his pace, but despite being retired for some years, he still clearly has something about him.

Erik ten Hag believes that Manchester United's injury list is stopping them achieve their true potential.
The Red Devils are yet to have a senior left-back play a single minute this season, with Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw both still out.
New man Leny Yoro has also yet to make his debut after joining from Lille in the summer.
Antony was also withdrawn at the end of the 1-1 draw against Fenerbahce and was seen leaving the stadium on crutches.
When asked about injuries ahead of facing West Ham this weekend, he said: "Yeah.
