THE TURNAROUND IS COMPLETE!

Leicester can't clear their lines in the box, and Mohamed Salah slips a pass into Alexis Mac Allister.

The Argentine picks out Curtis Jones, who has the simple task of tapping in.

After a long VAR check to see if Salah was offside in the build-up, then a handball against Jones, the goal is given.

So, as it stands, the Reds are moving seven points clear of Chelsea at the top of the table.

Big chance for Darwin Nunez!

It's a brilliant move from Liverpool as the ball s threaded down the right side of the box for Ryan Gravenberch.

The Dutchman picks out the striker in the area with a fine pass.

He beats Conor Coady to it, but he skies the effort way over the bar from about ten yards.

That's the end of the first 45 minutes, and it's all square.

Leicester opened the scoring inside the first six minutes thanks to Jordan Ayew.

They then largely frustrated the hosts, bar Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah hitting the woodwork.

But they got their equaliser on the stroke of half time through Cody Gakpo.

That's just what Arne Slot's men needed, and we are set up for an excellent second half at a foggy Anfield.

Cody Gakpo is so good when he cuts in from that left-hand-side, and he's found the back of the net just before half time.

Alexis Mac Allister rolls the pass to the Dutchman, and he finds some space on the edge of the box.

Gakpo unleashes an excellent strike that bends and dips into the far corner.

Andy Robertson smacks the post!

Liverpool are trying to pile the pressure on now, and they come very close to an equaliser through the Scottish left-back.

He gets on the end of a cross and flicks a header towards goal.

It's an excellent effort that beats Jakub Stolarczyk and strikes the post before rebounding off the young Polish goalkeeper and going behind for a corner, which is cleared.

Andy Robertson finds Cody Gakpo down the left.

The Dutchman cuts inside and unleashes a strike that fizzes just over the bar.

Mohamed Salah sees a right-footed effort then deflected just over the crossbar.

Darwin Nunez sells Trent Alexander-Arnold short with a pass and Victor Kristiansen is on to it.

He rolls a pass into Stephy Mavididi, who has Kristiansen on the overlap or Patson Daka in on goal in the box through the middle.

Mavididi makes the right pass with the ball towards Daka, but he hits it slightly too hard and Alisson Becker gathers.

If he got the weight of the pass right, Daka had a one-on-one.

It would be fair to say that goal has knocked the stuffing out of the home fans, who can't believe what they've just seen.

The Reds are back in control of the game and the ball, but they are moving it very slowly.

It's all a bit pedestrian from the Premier League leaders so far.

Well, this could be a long evening if you support Leicester...

Jakub Stolarczyk makes two brilliant saves on his Premier League debut to prevent Leicester conceding inside the opening five minutes.

The ball is worked out to Cody Gakpo, and he cuts in from the left before delivering a magnificent cross to the far post for Mohamed Salah.

He guides a volley towards goal that Stolarczyk pushes out to Curtis Jones.

He goes around the Polish goalkeeper, but he gets back at him and claws the ball away.

The fog has somewhat cleared at Anfield, but it's still a bitterly cold evening on Merseyside.

As always, things start with a rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.

Leicester win the toss and force the hosts to attack the Kop End in the first half.

Let's see if that makes any difference as the Foxes arrive here having lost their last two matches 4-0 and 3-0.

Wolves are out of the drop zone!

Vitor Pereira has made it back-to-back wins in his first two Premier League games and has Matheus Cunha to thank.

The Brazilian scored and set one up at Molineux as the Old Gold beat ten-man Man United, who had Bruno Fernandes sent off for the third time this season.

Incredibly, it was also the second time in the last three games that they conceded directly from a corner.

It's another damaging defeat for Man United who are 14th, eight points clear of the relegation zone and 11 points off the top four.

So, despite the threat of fog calling this one off, it looks like we are going ahead with Liverpool versus Leicester at Anfield.

This is because the teams are in for the match.

The Reds have made two changes from the ridiculous 6-3 win over Tottenham before Christmas, with Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones in for Dominik Szoboszlai and Luis Diaz.

For Leicester, there are three changes from the dreadful 3-0 home defeat to Wolves.

Jamie Vardy misses out with a knock, while goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk comes in for Danny Ward to make his Premier League debut at Anfield of all places!

He then plays a delightful one-two with Rayan Ait-Nouri that frees up the latter.

He slides a ball down the left of the box for Jorgen Strand Larsen.

The Norwegian has all the time in the world to pick out Goncalo Guedes to make it 2-0, but he hits his cross straight at Andre Onana.

That move deserved a goal because of the sublime way it started.

Wolves have the lead, and it's totally deserved, though Andre Onana will not want to see that one again!

Matheus Cunha delivers an in-swinging corner from the left.

It's a devilish delivery, but Onana gets nowhere near it as the ball flies over his head and nestles in the back of the net.

He wants a foul, but he's not getting anything.

It's the second time the Red Devils have directly conceded from a corner in the Premier League after Junior Stansilas for Bournemouth in 2015.

The Old Gold lead and are on course to get out of the relegation zone.

Nelson Semedo does very well on the right in the box to work the space for a cross.

He flashes the ball into the box and Jorgen Strand Larsen crashes a header into the back of the net.

However, the Norwegian was ahead of the ball when the cross came in, so it doesn't count.

BRUNO FERNANDES IS OFF!

The Man United captain was booked in the first half for a foul on Matheus Cunha, and minutes into the second half, he's off!

Fernandes goes in for a tackle on Nelson Semedo, and he gets nowhere near the ball.

He takes all of the man and is dismissed.

He will now miss Man United's game against Newcastle United on Monday, along with Manuel Ugarte who has received his fifth yellow card of the season.

Fernandes is the first Manchester United player to be sent off three times in a season in all competitions since Nemanja Vidic in 2008-09 (also 3).

The new Wolves captain unleashes a stunning strike that takes a slight nick off a Man United player before flashing just past Andre Onana's post.

The goalkeeper is most definitely worried about it as he throws himself across his goal.

The resulting corner comes to nothing.

Wolves advance down the right through Nelson Semedo, and he delivers a deep cross into the box.

The giant Jorgen Strand Larsen leaps up over his man to meet the ball and powers a header into the ground.

He gets so much power on the header that the ball bounces and looks to be flying into the top corner, but there is Onana to leap across his goal and tip it away with one hand.

The Portuguese international cuts inside and curls a strike at goal.
