Mohamed Salah's season just gets better and better.

That assist meant Salah has now been involved in 45 Premier League goals this season (27 goals, 18 assists), a record for a player in a 38-game campaign.

With that being his 18th assist of the top-flight season, he now has the most by a player since Kevin De Bruyne in 2019-20 (20).

Mikel Arteta has revealed Ben White, Thomas Partey and Jorginho are doubts for Arsenal’s Champions League trip to Real Madrid.

Prior to Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Brentford, White suffered an unknown injury in training which ruled him out.

Speaking before the Premier League fixture, Arteta said: “Ben White couldn’t be in the squad because he felt something again post-training yesterday, so that limits the solutions we have because Jurrien wasn’t ready to start the game either.”

Unfortunately that was not the end of Arteta’s injury worries as Partey was substituted in the 69th minute for Jurrien Timber.

Eight minutes after he scored the opener after a counter led by Declan Rice.

“He felt something so we didn't want to take any risks,” said the manager.

If he was desperate for goals, I think he would have taken other options.

“I think as long as he does that, it will get him into a position where – and he was a bit unlucky with the strike (against Eintracht Frankfurt) – he will get the goals, but more important for me is he continues to do those team things.

“With a lot of our football, the goals will come to the attacking players if they do the right things over and over again rather than them having to go out there individually and find them.”

Tottenham XI: Vicario; Gray, Romero, Davies, Spence; Bissouma, Sarr, Maddison; Tel, Solanke, Johnson.Subs: Kinsky, Porro, Van de Ven, Udogie, Bentancur, Bergvall, Kulusevski, Moore, Richarlison.Copied

Manchester United starlet Harry Amass is reportedly set to make his first Premier League start today against Newcastle.

According to the Daily Mail, the 18-year-old will be among several changes made by Ruben Amorim for the trip to Tyneside.

The teenager has only made one substitute appearance in the top-flight, having been handed his Premier League debut by Amorim before the international break.

The left-back came on for the final 21 minutes of Man United's 3-0 away win at Leicester.

The 5ft 9in full-back, who has been tipped as the long-term successor to Luke Shaw, was first drafted into the senior side by Erik ten Hag.

The Londoner had been at Watford’s academy since the age of nine before United paid compensation in 2023 to take him to Carrington.

Amorim's predecessor, Ten Hag, brought Amass into first-team training in February 2024 and claimed the defender boasted similar potential to that of Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.

Andre Onana has been dropped from the Manchester United squad travelling to face Newcastle on Sunday, talkSPORT understands.

The £47million man has been left out of Ruben Amorim's squad after he was culpable for both goals against Lyon in Thursday’s 2-2 draw in the Europa League.

Since the start of last season, the former Ajax and Inter Milan No.1 has made eight errors that have directly led to goals.

No other Premier League goalkeeper has made more in that time.

Altay Bayindir is expected to start in Onana's place and make his Premier League debut.

That is the end of the game, and it's more dropped points for Arsenal.

Of course, the Premier League title race is all but over, and the Gunners' attention is firmly fixed on Wednesday night in the Champions League, but it was still pretty disappointing from the hosts.

They rarely threatened Mark Flekken's goal and conceded a relatively sloppy goal near the end of the game.

Again, none of this will really matter if Arsenal finish the job against Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Thomas Frank will be delighted his team came from a goal down to take a point.

Liverpool now need three more wins to confirm themselves as champions.

Concern hero for Jorginho who has gone down with no one around him.

The Italian international needs some medical treatment as we enter the last five minutes of this one.

It's unclear what the problem is with Jorginho, but he is having to be carried off the pitch.

He's gone straight down the tunnel, and the hosts will have to play the remainder of the match with ten men.

GAME ON!

Brentford are back in it, and it is Yoane Wissa with the goal.

Substitute Michael Kayode gets down the right and clips a cross to the far post.

Nathan Collins heads it back down into the six-yard box.

Wissa watches it onto his foot and hooks his effort into the back of the net.

OPENER!

David Raya claims the corner and rolls a pass out to Declan Rice.

Rice skips past one in midfield, and suddenly, it is three-on-three.

The England international carries the ball to the edge of the box and plays a pass to Thomas Partey.

Partey takes a touch and lashes his shot into the back of the net.

And Mikel Arteta responds by bringing Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Myles Lewis-Skelly on.

Good defending by Arsenal stops Bryan Mbeumo.

The Gunners loses a 50/50 in the Brentford half, and the ball drops to Yoane Wissa.

He plays it to Mbeumo, who runs at Kieran Tierney.

Mbeumo can't back onto his left foot, and Tierney does well to sniff out the danger, and from the corner, the Gunners are on the break...

Back underway for the second half here at the Emirates.

No changes for either team.

It will be interesting to see just how long it takes for Mikel Arteta to turn to his bench if the score remains the same.

Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka are substitutes.

After the high of Tuesday night, there was always the danger of this one being a bit flat, and that is how things are transpiring.

Arsenal have had the better of the chances, but Mark Flekken has only had to make a couple of routine saves.

Down the other end, David Raya had to be at his best to stop Kristoffer Ajer.

Kieran Tierney did find the back of the net, but he was offside, so it is goalless at half time.

Patient play from Arsenal sees William Saliba find Leandro Trossard in a pocket of space in front of the Brentford defence.

The Belgian chops past one man and then another to get the ball onto his right foot.

He is urged to shoot and goes for goal from range.

It's a decent effort that Mark Flekken keeps his eyes on as he pushes it away for a corner that comes to nothing.

First yellow card of the game goes to Christian Norgaard for chopping down Gabriel Martinelli.

It was a genuine attempt to get the ball from the midfielder, but the tackle was late.

The referee and VAR decide it is only worthy of a booking.

But Mikel Arteta is furious and thinks Norgaard should be sent off.

Kieran Tierney has the ball in the back of the net, but he's offside.

Ethan Nwaneri drifts in from the right and delivers a cross into the box.

Tierney comes back from an offside position to glance a superb header into the net.

He doesn't really celebrate because he probably knows he's off.

Semi-automated offside quickly decides it's offside.
