Premier League gameweek eight concludes tonight and talkSPORT is here to keep you updated with all the latest action.
Liverpool and Manchester City both took full advantage of Arsenal's 2-0 loss to Bournemouth after dramatic victories on Sunday.
First, City needed another late John Stones goal to come to their rescue as the champions came from behind to beat Wolves.
Liverpool then reclaimed top spot by battling to a 2-1 win over Chelsea in a tense affair where VAR played a big part for both sides.
Nottingham Forest will now take on Crystal Palace in the final fixture of the gameweek on Monday, with the Eagles desperate for three points.

West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui will seek talks with Mohammed Kudus but insisted the attacker will be well aware his actions at Tottenham were not acceptable.
Kudus was sent off in the 86th minute of a 4-1 thrashing at Spurs after he struck both Micky van de Ven and Pape Sarr in the face.
It was a moment of madness from the Ghana international, who has endured a difficult time after he had to apologise to his nation following a defeat to Sudan on Tuesday, which means the Black Stars could fail to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations.
With a minimum three-match ban on the horizon for Kudus - it could be extended further if the Football Association decide to take retrospective action - the 24-year-old will not play for West Ham again until at least after the November international break.
"I am not going to say here what I am going to talk with him (about), but for sure we are going to talk," Lopetegui said.
"We are going to have time and I am sure he will be aware that he can improve his answer in this moment because it's not good for him, for the club and not good for the team.
"But I can't say anything more because I don't see the action."

Arne Slot was delighted with the contribution from Curtis Jones at both ends of the pitch after he scored the winner in a 2-1 victory over Chelsea that sent Liverpool back to the top of the Premier League.
Jones tucked in Liverpool's second goal six minutes into the second half, moments after Nicolas Jackson's equaliser, having already made a crucial block to deny Cole Palmer and then won the penalty from which Mohamed Salah opened the scoring.
Jones thought he had won a second penalty before half-time when he collided with Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
It's almost impossible to control him for 90 minutes but he was quite close to that but then also to have the impact on the other side with the goal and the two penalties he was involved in, one disallowed by VAR.
"It shows you he had a big impact on both sides of the pitch."

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has discussed Mohamed Salah moving up to joint ninth in the Premier League goalscoring list.
He told Sky Sports: "Mo Salah will have an eye on Thierry Henry and Frank Lampard.
"I think stats like this are one of the biggest reasons why Salah will sign a new contract at Liverpool.
"These are things which get the juices flowing for Salah."

Chelsea manager Enzo Marseca told Sky Sports: "We don't like to lose or drop points, but I really liked the performance.
Sometimes it is because of the noise [of the crowd], but overall I think they did OK."

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones shared an exchange with his fellow Englishman Cole Palmer following the full-time whistle.
The pair won the Euro U21 trophy together under Three Lions interim boss Lee Carsley in the summer of 2023 but were direct rivals today.
Jones, who made a terrific block to deny Palmer a clear sight on goal in the first-half, then scored the winner in the same net later on.
Former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge told Sky Sports: "I played with Curtis Jones and he has always had the ability.
"You can see he has grown up a lot and he kept Cole Palmer quiet today.
"Playing on that side of the pitch he has come with a goal and performed top-class."

Uruguayan reports earlier this week shared a fear that Liverpool Arne Slot isn't giving Darwin Nunez a chance.
Fittingly, it was the big-money striker the Dutchman turned to once Diogo Jota had been forced off through injury after 30 minutes.
Nunez failed to get on the scoresheet but impressed in a very different type of performance in the scrappy 2-1 win over Chelsea.
The 25-year-old was unusually among Liverpool's main creators in the first-half, teeing up Cody Gakpo for an early chance.
Curtis Jones' second penalty which was later overturned was originally instigated by a Nunez through-ball.
After the break, the former Benfica man found himself in a personal tussle with Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashille.
Such was his defensive work Nunez was tracking back to dive into slide tackles while already on a yellow card.
Opportunities for himself to shoot were few and far between but the all-action performance will be just what Slot was after.
Jamie Carragher called Nunez's performance 'outstanding' on Sky Sports following the full-time whistle.

Chelsea haven’t won any of their last 10 meetings with Liverpool across all competitions (D7 L3), while only once in their history have they had a longer winless run against the Reds (11 games – May 1985-October 1990).
However, captain Reece James, who made his first appearance of the season, feels his side can consider themselves unfortunate.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the England defender said: "Coming here is always tough.
It is still early days, we haven't been with the manager long."

An incredible seven days for Curtis Jones, last Sunday he and his partner welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Giselle Delilah Jones.
A week on and he's scored his first Premier League goal of the season with a dedicated celebration for his new daughter!
Jones added: "It’s the best thing ever.

Another let-off for the Reds, who seem to have lost some composure in stoppage-time as a precious three points creeps ever closer.
Pedro Neto floats over a deep teasing cross that Caoimhín Kelleher stays on his line for and hopes will bounce out.
But the Irish goalkeeper is almost embarrassed as Christopher Nkunku ghosts in unnoticed and at full stretch pokes into the side-netting.

Was that the moment for the visitors?
Alexis Mac Allister fouls Cole Palmer and receives a yellow card but the Chelsea talisman dusts himself off to stand up the free-kick.
Renato Veiga gets the run on Ibrahima Konate and meets the delivery but his header sails over the crossbar.
Enzo Maresca's reaction suggests the Portuguese should have done a lot better!

Could be famous last words but if there was ever a 'clear and obvious' difference between Jurgen Klopp and Arne Slot it's in this game.
Liverpool were so often chaotic, breathless and constantly pushing under the old regime.
Slot's tactical plan has been to take the sting completely out of Chelsea's attack since retaking the lead.
Lots of fouls, delays on restarts and sensible retention of possession and crucially, little to no chances for either side!
SEVEN minutes for the Reds to hold on as Slot gees up the crowd!

Another break in play will suit the home side as Malo Gusto requires treatment but fortunately for the visitors will not be forced off.
Chelsea have around ten minutes to find another equaliser and you wouldn't back against Cole Palmer being the man to score it.
Palmer has had twice as many shots as any other player on the pitch during this match (4) - but none that have troubled Anfield!
But it only takes a moment to change a game!

Ibrahima Konate becomes the latest to enter the book as he clatters into Christopher Nkunku.
Robert Sanchez looked to have released the Chelsea attacker but he's wiped out by his French compatriot to stop him streaking away.
Liverpool utilises the latest stop in play with a double change as two Scousers are withdrawn to a standing ovation.
Reds vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold and goalscorer Curtis Jones both make way for Alexis Mac Allister and Joe Gomez.

Darwin Nunez and Benoit Badiashile continue their ongoing battle as the Frenchman this time is penalised for a shove in the back.
Before Liverpool have a chance to take the free-kick from the right-hand touchline Chelsea make a change.
Noni Madueke, who started the game so brightly but has faded, is replaced by Christopher Nkunku.
Trent Alexander-Arnold gets us back underway with a delivery from the byline but it's well cleared by the visitors.
Luis Diaz is then fouled by Renato Veiga who is the latest to be shown a yellow card.
The Blues, who are winless in their past nine meetings with Liverpool which includes three cup finals, are not out of this yet!

What a seven days for Curtis Jones!
Having been called up to the England senior squad over the international break, the midfielder didn't travel to Finland for the Three Lions' 3-1 win in Helsinki.
The reason is that the Scouser and his partner welcomed their first child last Sunday – Giselle Delilah Jones.
His first game since and he's scored his first Premier League goal of 2024 with a dedicated celebration for his new daughter!

Those changes seem to have reignited the visitors who were rocked by falling behind so quickly after drawing level.
A deep cross is met by Noni Madueke on the volley but the angle is against him and it bounces into Caoimhín Kelleher's midriff.
Chelsea quickly reclaim the ball and Pedro Neto draws a foul from Ryan Gravenberch.
However Cole Palmer's free-kick is deflected behind by a corner by Trent Alexander-Arnold and the corner comes to nothing.
Darwin Nunez affords Liverpool some breathing space by being fouled on the edge of his own box and now Arne Slot turns to his bench.
Cody Gakpo's number is up - on comes Luis Diaz!

No messing from Enzo Maresca as his captain Reece James is withdrawn as part of a triple change.
Renato Veiga, Enzo Fernandez, and Benoit Badiashile all come on for Tosin Adarabioyo, as well as the recently returned James and Romeo Lavia.
A big boost for Chelsea going forwards is that their skipper was able to play over 50 minutes without any further fitness issues.

WHAT A RESPONSE FROM THE REDS!
Jones, who has won both of their penalties today whether eventually taken or not, has now popped up with a goal of his own.
Chelsea attempt to play a high defensive line on the edge of their box which does play Darwin Nunez offside.
But Jones makes a clever run from deep that is unchecked as Mohamed Salah cuts inside Malo Gusto and swings over a cross.
The England midfielder brings the ball down, and having failed to get his shot away in the chaos that led to the overturned penalty, this time he prods it past Robert Sanchez into the goal.
Jones has struck his first Premier League goal since scoring against Newcastle United at Anfield on New Years Day earlier this year.
Salah has now both scored and assisted in 34 separate Premier League matches, with only Wayne Rooney doing so in more games in Premier League history (36).

THE GOAL IS GIVEN AND CHELSEA HAVE THEIR EQUALISER!
The visitors didn't have a shot on target in the first-half but they've just restored parity with their first of the restart!
It's a great run from Jackson, who is found by Moises Caicedo charging between Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.
He shows uncharacteristic coolness to then slot past Caoimhín Kelleher into the bottom corner before the offside flag is raised.
However, replays show Konate's trailing leg has played him onside and the goal is awarded!
Jackson has now scored against 13 of the 18 teams he's faced in the Premier League after netting the equaliser at Anfield this afternoon.
Jackson has been directly involved in 13 goals in his last 13 appearances in the Premier League (nine goals, four assists), just one fewer than in his first 30 games for Chelsea in the competition (14 - 10 goals, four assists).
