THERE IS THE HAT-TRICK!

Wolves lose the ball on the edge of the box.

Cole Palmer is there, and he rolls a pass into the path of Noni Madueke.

He takes a touch and slams in a low shot at the near post.

Madueke has now scored more league goals at Molineux then he has at Stamford Bridge.

HE'S DONE IT AGAIN!

Moises Caicedo wins the ball in midfield and heads it on for Cole Palmer.

He slips a pass into Noni Madueke.

This time, he takes the ball on his right foot and drills a shot across the goalkeeper and into the far corner.

Arne Slot has named his starting XI for his first competitive game at Anfield.

He's made one change from the 2-0 win over Ipswich, with Ibrahima Konate replacing Jarell Quansah.

For Brentford, Ivan Toney is missing once more with a transfer away from west London now close.

Keane Lewis-Potter comes in for Kevin Schade as the only change.

New man and former Liverpool player Sepp van den Berg is on the bench.

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Salah, Diaz, Jota

Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Endo, Nunez, Gakpo, Elliott, Tsimikas, Quansah, Bradley

Brentford: Flekken, Roerslev, Collins, Pinnock, Ajer, Janelt, Norgaard, Jensen, Mbeumo, Lewis-Potter, Wissa

Subs: Van den Berg, Schade, Valdimarsson, Carvalho, Onyeka, Mee, Yarmoliuk, Damsgaard, Trevitt

Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer is fuming with the Toon's performance so far.

The Magpies have been flat and lethargic against Bournemouth, and Newcastle's record goalscorer isn't happy with what he's seeing.

Newcastle still trail 1-0, and Eddie Howe has introduced Harvey Barnes and Kieran Trippier for Tino Livramento and Jacob Murphy.

THIS GAME IS UNBELIEVABLE!

Noni Madueke was given a start, and he delivers with a goal.

Cole Palmer creates the goal, as he picks up space on the edge of the box before feeding a pass into the English winger.

He cuts in onto his left and drills in a shot that loops up off a Wolves shirt and flies into the far corner.

What a block from Dan Burn!

The Cherries break down the left, and the ball is fed into Evanilson.

The new man does well to pull a a cross into the area, and Antoine Semeyo is onto it.

But just as he gets there, Burn produces a magnificent block.

We are back underway at the Vitality Stadium.

There are no changes from either side, but the Magpies will have to be much better if they are to get anything from this game.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth will hope it's more of the same in the second period.

Wow, time to catch your breath because this game at Molineux is brilliant.

Wolves and Chelsea are locked at 2-2, and this one has had it all, from outrageous goals and fights to terrible defending and brilliant attacking play.

Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring before Matheus Cunha levelled.

Cole Palmer then brilliantly chipped the ball over Jose Sa near the end of the half, but the Blues couldn't hold onto the lead, and Jorgen Strand Larsen popped up with his first Premier League goal.

In the other match, Bournemouth lead Newcastle 1-0 thanks to Marcus Tavernier's tap-in.

It's the least the Cherries deserve after dominating the last 30 minutes of the first half.

Newcastle started brightly, but faded badly.

THAT DIDN'T LAST LONG!

With first-half stoppage time nearly over, Chelsea give away a free-kick.

The ball is clipped to the back stick, and it's headed back across.

Jorgen Strand Larsen loses his man and sticks out a leg to divert the ball into the back of the net.

What a game this is at Molineux.

THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS!

From a Wolves attack, Robert Sanchez launches the ball up the pitch to Nicolas Jackson.

He does very well to flick a pass into Cole Palmer's path.

The England international sees Jose Sa off his line and tries the audacious lob, which of course he pulls off.

What a way to open your account for the season!

JOELINTON, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!

The Brazilian takes too long on the ball in his half, and Antoine Semenyo robs him of possession.

Newcastle force the forward wide, but he does very well to squeeze a cross into the box.

It's a great ball, and there is Marcus Tavernier to tap in.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE RUN!

The hosts are level, and Matheus Cunha has his goal this time, but this is all about Rayan Ait-Nouri.

He pinches the ball off Moises Caicedo on the halfway line and drives to the edge of the area before dancing inside and sliding a ball across the box to the Brazilian.

Cunha is totally free, and has all the time in the world to fire home from 12 yards.

But after the goal, there are more shenanigans as Cunha has a word with Nicolas Jackson.

Jackson tries to pull the Wolves man back and players from both sides pile in.

Again, the referee does well to keep everything under control.

What a strike from Antoine Semenyo.

The Bournemouth forward is playing on the right wing today and cuts in from that side.

Joelinton gets a toe on the ball, but it runs for Semenyo to have a strike.

He unleashes a dipping shot from 25 yards that rattles the top of the bar and bounces out for a goal kick.

Nick Pope was beaten all ends up there!

Wolves think they have a leveller through Matheus Cunha, but it's ruled out.

The striker returning to the side after being on the bench against Arsenal is in an offside position when he puts the ball in the net.

It's a let off for Enzo Maresca's side, though.

We are just over ten minutes into the clash on the south coast, and the visitors have started very brightly.

Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton have been brilliant in midfield, while Alexander Isak is looking very bright.

He's created the best of the game as well through an excellent run down the right.

Isak's cross to the far post was met by Anthony Gordon, and the ball deflected over the bar for a corner.

It's all kicking off now at Molineux.

In the immediate aftermath of Nicolas Jackson's goal, the striker celebrated in front of the Chelsea fans, which the Wolves fans didn't like.

This saw the players get involved from all sides, and Darren England had a word with the two captains to calm things down.

WHAT A START!

Noni Madueke drives down the right and drills in a shot from a tight angle.

Jose Sa palms the ball behind for a corner.

Cole Palmer takes, and the ball is flicked to the far post, and Jackson is there to nod in from close range.

He missed a few chances last week, but he's made no mistake there.

Okay, we are ten minutes away from the Sunday 2pm games getting underway.

We'll have updates from both throughout.

Newcastle will be looking for back-to-back wins, while Bournemouth will want to start their home campaign with a victory after a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.

In the Midlands, Wolves welcome Chelsea to Molineux, where the Old Gold had plenty of success last year.

Meanwhile, the Blues will hope this is Enzo Maresca's first top-flight victory.

Bournemouth chairman Bill Foley is against playing Premier League games abroad.

There has been a suggestion that we could soon see top-flight matches played in other countries, such as the United States.

However, the American is dead set against that.

Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the Cherries' game against Newcastle this afternoon, he said: "The traditions here are so strong and so important.

"We really shouldn't be playing Premier League games in the United States or in other countries, we need to play them here in front of our fans.

"I am committed to that."

In the other 2pm game, Chelsea face Wolves, and here is the team news.

The hosts make one change as Matheus Cunha comes back into the team for Rodrigo Gomes, who drops to the bench.

For Chelsea, there are two changes from the defeat to Man City last weekend.

Noni Madueke scored in midweek against Servette and gets his chance from the start in place of Romeo Lavia, who misses out entirely with a hamstring injury.

Mykhailo Mudryk also comes into the XI for Christopher Nkunku.

There is still no place on the bench for Raheem Sterling, Axel Disasi and Trevoh Chalobah.

But new man Joao Felix has been named among the substitutes.

Former Wolves winger Pedro Neto is also on the bench.

Wolves: Sa, Doherty, Mosquera, Toti, Ait-Nouri, Lemina, Bellegarde, Hwang, J Gomes, Cunha, Larsen

Subs: Bentley, Bueno, Traore, Podence, Dawson, R Gomes, Doyle, Sarabia, Guedes

Chelsea: Sanchez, Gusto, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella, Fernandez, Caicedo, Madueke, Palmer, Mudryk, Jackson

Subs: Jorgensen, Tosin, Badiashile, Neto, Nkunku, Dewsbury-Hall, Guiu, Veiga

The teams are in from the Vitality, and the big news is that Evanilson starts upfront for the home side.

The Brazilian striker is Dominic Solanke's replacement, and he comes straight into the team for the Englishman who joined Tottenham for £65 million.

Dean Huijsen also drops to the bench with Marcos Senesi coming into the team.

At right-back, Julian Araujo gets his first start in place of Adam Smith.

Ryan Christie replaces Alex Scott in the centre of midfield, and Luis Sinisterra and Dango Ouattara come out for Evanilson and Justin Kluivert.

For Newcastle, Emil Krafth replaces the suspended Fabian Schar, while Lloyd Kelly makes his full debut for the Toon back at Bournemouth.

The defender slots in at left-back for Eddie Howe's men, with Lewis Hall dropped to the bench.

Kieran Trippier has also been named among the substitutes despite the growing transfer rumours around the England international.

Bournemouth: Neto, Araujo, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez, Christie, Cook, Semenyo, Tavernier, Kluivert, Evanilson

Subs: Travers, Huijsen, Ouattara, Scott, Smith, Sinisterra, Jebbison, Hill, Anthony

Newcastle: Pope, Livramento, Krafth, Burn, Kelly, Guimaraes, Longstaff, Joelinton, J Murphy, Gordon, Isak

Subs: Ruddy, Trippier, Barnes, Targett, Osula, Hall, Almiron, Willock, A Murphy

Saturday saw some great games in the Premier League, and today should be no different.

First, we have Chelsea's visit to Wolves and Bournemouth welcome Newcastle.

Then in the Sunday evening game, Liverpool host Brentford.

Chelsea head to the Midlands off the back of a 2-0 defeat to the champions Manchester City on the opening weekend.

It was a comfortable victory for the Citizens, who didn't have to get out of second gear to beat the Blues, so Enzo Maresca will hope he can bag his first Premier League win today.

Meanwhile, the other 2pm game sees Eddie Howe return to the Vitality Stadium.

Since leaving Bournemouth and becoming the Toon boss, he's yet to win at his old ground, but with the Magpies targeting a top-four push again this year, he will hope to change that.

But the Cherries were brilliant under Andoni Iraola last season and new man Evanilson will likely make his debut upfront.

Then the day ends with Arne Slot's first competitive game at Anfield.

It will be the first competitive match at Liverpool's historic ground without Jurgen Klopp since October 2015, and the Dutchman is sure to get a big welcome.

We'll have updates on all the games throughout the afternoon.

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is undertaking extra one-on-one session to turn around his ailing form.

And he's doing it with Red Devils icon Ruud van Nistelrooy.

The duo are, according to The Sun, working on his 'back post awareness and runs across the box'.

It comes with Rashford goalless in his first three appearances of the season, extending his streak to 11 in total going back to March last season.

He only managed eight in total for Man United last year, in 43 matches.

That was down from 30 in 56 in the 2022/23 campaign.

David Raya might already have the save of the season locked up.

In Arsenal's 2-0 win over Aston Villa, his stunning effort to deny Ollie Watkins' follow up to a strike which hit the bar stopped a certain goal.

And the shot-stopper admits even he's not sure how it happened.

“It’s one of those where you don’t know how you did it.
