So, after 13 rounds of Premier League action, this is what the table looks like.

Liverpool continue to pull away at the top and now hold a nine-point lead over Chelsea and Arsenal thanks to their 2-0 win over Manchester City.

Just five points separates fourth-placed Brighton and Bournemouth, who lie in 13th.

As for the relegation battle, 19th-placed Ipswich can jump up to 15th with a win in their game.

With every team set to be in action on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings this week, the table could look very different.

Is there tension between Pep Guardiola and superstar midfielder Kevin de Bruyne?

Jamie Carragher certainly seems to think so.

De Bruyne was left to make do with an 11-minute cameo in City's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Having been named as a substitute for the trip to Anfield, it means the Belgian maestro has not started for City since a 2-1 win over Brentford on September 14.

However, it is worth noting De Bruyne has missed nine games across all competitions for City this term with a hamstring injury.

But given De Bruyne is fit to play, Carragher is perplexed he is not starting games for City given the quality he has constantly shown throughout his time under Guardiola.

On De Bruyne's situation, Carragher told Sky Sports: "Something's not right."

Jamie Carragher has officially declared Manchester City's title defence over.

City's 2-0 defeat to league leaders Liverpool has left Pep Guardiola's side trailing by 11 points.

The loss - City's fourth-straight in the English top flight - has left the club's hopes of a fifth consecutive Premier League title in tatters.

Well, at least Carragher certainly seems to think so.

"I don't see there's any way back for Manchester City now," Carragher said on Sky Sports.

"Sometimes you need to lose so people realise what you've done so you don't take it for granted what you have done.

And maybe he's sending a message to the hierarchy, the people above him and the fans.

"But this season Manchester City will not win the Premier League."

Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards didn't pull any punches in his assessment of Pep Guardiola's team.

City's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool saw the defending Premier League champions slip to 11 points behind their rivals.

It was also City's fourth-straight league defeat and the first time they'd gone seven games without a win across all competitions since April 2004.

Richards does not believe it's the 'end of an era', but he does have concerns regarding the output of some of City's stars.

"Man City are going through a difficult period," Richards told Sky Sports.

"Some of the players are letting him down.

Today they were a shadow of their best.

"Pep Guardiola said he was looking for a reaction and they didn't get that.

"The first half could've been two or three nil to Liverpool."

Mohamed Salah continued to fuel speculation regarding his future in the aftermath of Liverpool's 2-0 win over Manchester City.

It's no secret Salah's contract expires at the end of this season and the Egyptian star said he was 'probably more out than in' after Liverpool's 3-2 win over Southampton last week.

Salah was once again asked about his future after the City win and he didn't exactly offer any assurances he'd still be at Anfield beyond this term.

"Honestly it's in my head," Salah told Sky Sports.

"Until now, this is the last City game I will play for Liverpool so I was just going to enjoy it.

The atmosphere was incredible so I will enjoy every second here.

"Hopefully we just win the league and will see what will happen."

What a result that is for Arne Slot's side.

A 2-0 win sees Liverpool go eight points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Meanwhile defeat for Man City sees them fall even further behind in the title race.

Pep Guardiola's side are now 11 points behind the Reds in the title race as they sit in fifth place.

Man City may be on their way to losing this one, but Pep Guardiola is still happy to dish it out to the Liverpool fans.

After being criticised throughout, the Spaniard has responded by holding up six fingers to the supporters with a big smile on his face.

Of course the 'six' is in relation to the amount of times that City have beaten Liverpool to the title.

Guardiola may have a point, but Liverpool are looking like a very, very good bet to clinch this year's crown.

That is disastrous defending from Man City and it's proven costly!

A high press from Liverpool sees Ruben Dias and then Kyle Walker lose the ball with Luis Diaz bearing down on goal.

Stefan Orteta then came storming off his line and brought him down in the area, resulting in a penalty to the hosts.

Up steps Mo Salah who made no mistake, slamming the ball home into the bottom corner of the net to put them 2-0 up.

Could Liverpool be set to go 11 points clear of Man City?

We can individually do better."

Asked what went wrong at Stamford Bridge, Emery simply replied: "Chelsea."

It's half-time at Anfield and so far the game has been very much in Liverpool's control.

After Cody Gakpo gave the Reds the lead, Man City have come back into the game but it's very much being played on Liverpool's terms/

The one positive for Pep Guardiola is that it's only 1-0 and they are still very much in it.

But something will need to change if Man City are to challenge the table-toppers.

Oh, there he is!

Yes, Erling Haaland is playing for Manchester City against Liverpool but you'd be forgiven for thinking that he'd been left out.

The Norwegian striker has been completely marked out of the game, meaning that 30 minutes into the match he's had just nine touches of the ball.

With only two of them in the penalty area, Man City must find a way to get him into the game if they're going to get back into this one.

Liverpool are ahead and the only surprise is that it hasn't come sooner!

Arne Slot's side have been dominant beyond belief in the opening 15 minutes and put Man City's side under immense pressure.

Moments after Virgil van Dijk hit the post, Cody Gakpo converted from close range after a wonderful cross from Mohamed Salah that sliced the City defence wide open.

Liverpool smell blood here and for Man City it has not been the composed start that they'll have been hoping for.

That's six in his last seven for Gakpo and the Dutchman will be confident that there could be more available for him this afternoon...

Following big wins for Chelsea and Manchester United, the Premier League table is really starting to take shape.

A victory for Liverpool would see them go eight points clear at the top of the table.

Meanwhile a win for Man City would see them fly up the table to second.

Worth noting that there is just seven points between second-place Arsenal and 13th-place Bournemouth at the time of writing...

Liverpool vs Man City is just around the corner with kick-off set for 4pm UK time.

There's big pressure on both teams for very different reason and that's why neither manager has shied away from making the ball calls in their team selection.

Buckle in, go and grab your cuppa and crack open that box of Christmas chocolates (it is December 1st after all!) and get ready for this one.

It should be a cracker.

What an afternoon it's been for Manchester United!

The Red Devils won 4-0 against Everton thanks to two goals apiece for Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee.

While the Toffees were utterly dreadful, the home fans could be heard singing "Ruben Amorim's red and white army" - a universally accepted sign of acceptance from the Stretford End.

Chelsea also claimed a big win after beating Aston Villa 3-0 thanks to Nicolas Jackson, Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer who stole the show with his glorious curling effort.

Meanwhile Tottenham laboured to a 1-1 draw with Fulham.

Brennan Johnson opened the scoring with Tom Cairney equalising - only to be red-carded for a horrific challenge in the second half.

I hope you're not too tired, because this Sunday is only just getting started with Liverpool vs Man City up next!

There's no show without the main event, is there?

Cole Palmer is Chelsea's standout star for a reason and he showed exactly why after bending a glorious effort into the top corner of the net.

A clever free-kick routine saw the ball played out to Noni Madueke on the right flank who remained patient, before playing it back to Palmer on the edge of the box.

Moving onto his left foot, Palmer curled a beautiful effort beyond sub goalkeeper Robin Olsen to all-but wrap up the win.

That makes it eight goals and six assists for Palmer this season - unplayable.

After scoring a beautiful goal to draw Fulham level, Cairney has been red-carded for a horror challenge.

The skipper fouled Dejan Kulusevski after raking his studs down the player's calf, leading to him being given a yellow card.

However that card was then upgraded after it was judged to have been serious foul play.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Sam Ellard said: "That could have broken his leg," meaning that Cairney will have no complaints at all.

Let's be honest, this is nothing less than Fulham deserve!

Some good work from Alex Iwobi sees the ball fall to Cairney who curls a wonderful effort beyond the goalkeeper and into the net.

It may have taken a deflection off Dragusin, but it looked to be heading in anyway.

That strike is Cairney's first goal in a year and what a way to end his drought!

For Spurs, surely there can be no complaint...

Zirkzee has made it four and that's enough for many of the Everton fans at Old Trafford.

That's because a number of supporters are now flocking for the exit door with a quarter of the game remaining!

The Toffees have been awful today and that has allowed Ruben Amorim's side to completely run riot.

Zirkzee, who in truth has been quiet today, now has his second of the day and that will be a big confidence boost for him.

For Sean Dyche's side, however, this will be another alarming result in the context of their season.
