Fulham boss Marco Silva has recalled Andreas Pereira to the matchday squad for tonight's clash against Brighton.

Brazilian Pereira found himself in hot water with Cottagers fans after an interview regarding his potential summer exit surfaced earlier this week.

The former Manchester United star apologised for 'his unprofessional conduct' and he was subsequently axed from the 1-1 draw with Tottenham.

Silva described that move as a 'technical decision' and insisted it wasn't to do with his interview, but he remained pre-match.

He told Amazon: "There is not just Andreas [on the bench tonight].

I understand the concept but I think how it is fundamentally working at the moment is not right."

Nicky Butt has offered his backing for Graham Potter in his next job amid links with two Premier League clubs.

talkSPORT understands that Potter has been sounded out by West Ham and Wolves for their managerial positions.

The former Brighton boss hasn't been in a coaching job since he left Chelsea in April 2023.

A return could be on the cards soon though and Manchester United legend Butt has sung his praises.

"I did my coaching badges with Graham and one thing I'll say about him, is he knows his stuff," he told talkSPORT on White and Jordan.

"He's technically very good on the grass...

Former Chelsea boss Graham Potter is among the leading candidates to succeed Lopetegui if he is sacked.

Potter left the Blues in April 2023 and hasn't returned to the touchline since but has been of interest to Ajax and Leicester City.

Kevin De Bruyne could remain part of City Football Group's setup if he was to leave Manchester City.

The club's legendary midfielder sees his contract at the Premier League giants expire at the end of the season.

As reported by The Telegraph, De Bruyne is able to speak to other clubs regarding a pre-contract agreement as of January.

However, it is said that the Belgian could in fact extend his stay at the club.

City may offer him a role at one of the clubs in their City Football Group network, with teams located in Europe, the United States and Australia.

De Bruyne has made only five Premier League starts for City this season, having previously suffered a hamstring injury.

Julen Lopetegui took West Ham training today and is expected to stay in charge at least until after Monday's game against Wolves, talkSPORT understands.

The Spaniard is under increasing pressure at the Hammers, who are considering sacking him following their poor start to the season.

talkSPORT understands that the club have been expected to hold crunch talks this week after their 3-1 defeat to Leicester.

However, Lopetegui looks set to appear on the touchline on Monday at the London Stadium when they take on Wolves.

The match could have huge implications for either side's season, with Wolves already in the Premier League relegation zone.

Their manager Gary O'Neil also faces an uncertain future in the dugout after they were beaten 4-0 by Everton.

Chelsea have shown significant improvement over the past two years and it's clear to see in the numbers.

The Blues are 2nd in the Premier League following an excellent opening run of form under new head coach Enzo Maresca.

They have also impressed in the UEFA Conference League with four wins from four and cementing themselves at the top of the table.

Chelsea's 5-1 win against Southampton on Wednesday night has seen their overall tally for the season increase to 57.

This is already seven goals more than their total across 50 matches in the 2022/23 campaign when they finished 12th in the Premier League.

Maresca's side have beaten that number in 28 less matches, with the 100 mark surely set to be passed in the coming months.

Nicky Butt believes it'll be another two years or so until Manchester United will compete at the top of the Premier League again.

Their last league title victory came in 2013, with rivals Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool all winning since then.

Ruben Amorim has become the latest manager tasked with ending their drought, although fans have been warned it won't be a quick fix.

"There's going to be a lot of pain, there's going to be some pain coming," the six-time Premier League winner Butt told talkSPORT on White and Jordan.

If they think it's over, let them think it's over.

"We are going to look game by game, try to win as much as possible, and we will see at the end."

Arsenal's 2-0 win over Manchester United has allowed boss Mikel Arteta to claim an impressive crown in the Premier League.

The Gunners dispatched Ruben Amorim's side with two goals from corners to go level on points with Chelsea.

It was Arteta's tenth league match on the touchline against United and the win was his seventh over their long-term rivals.

This win rate of 70 per cent is the best that has been achieved by any manager in Premier League history from five or more meetings against United.

Arteta has also become the first ever Arsenal manager to seal four consecutive wins over them in the league.

The two sides meet again in January, although this will come in the third round of the FA Cup.

Gary O'Neil has been nominated for the Premier League's Manager of the Month award.

talkSPORT understands the Wolves boss is facing increasing pressure following a poor start to the season.

However, O'Neil could be recognised for his efforts on the touchline by the Premier League thanks to their results in November.

Wolves won two of their four matches, against Southampton and Fulham, and set a goal difference of plus three.

O'Neil faces competition for the award from Liverpool's Arne Slot and Brighton's Fabian Hurzeler.

Slot ensured the Reds had a 100 per cent record throughout the month, whilst Hurzeler guided Brighton to two wins from four.

talkSPORT's Simon Jordan has expressed his distaste with Wolves fans jeering their under-pressure manager Gary O'Neil.

They were thumped 4-0 against Everton and sit in the relegation zone after 14 Premier League matches.

O'Neil was seen consoling his players at full-time at Goodison Park but was met with boos from the travelling Wolves fans.

Some were even heard signing 'Sacked in the morning' to their own manager, with Jordan certainly not a fan of their behaviour.

"There's a part of me that understands implicitly and explicitly that fans have a right to air their views, they pay their money," he said on White and Jordan.

We still conceded some transitions and missed some easy things and lost some passes that you have to avoid.

"But in general, the most important thing was to break this routine of not winning games and we won it."

Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat against Arsenal on Wednesday night brought an end to a sensational run for Ruben Amorim.

The Portuguese head coach was dealt his first loss with the Premier League giants following two victories and a draw.

Amorim joined last month following a hugely successful spell with Sporting Amorim, with whom he enjoyed excellent form.

However, defeat in north London has come as his first since December 2023 when Sporting lost 2-3 to Vitoria Guimaraes.

This has ended a 34-match unbeaten run in league competitions for Amorim, which is just four matches off an entire Premier League season.

United’s defeat was their fifth in the league so far this season, with the club 11th but only four points off the European qualification spots.

Graham Potter has been sounded out by Wolves AND West Ham, talkSPORT understands.

The two clubs meet at Molineux on Monday night, with both Wolves boss Gary O’Neil and Hammers counterpart Julen Lopetegui battling to save their jobs.

Lopetegui is set to meet with the West Ham hierarchy today as owner Davis Sullivan considers whether to sack the Spaniard after only 14 Premier League games in charge.

Meanwhile as it stands the expectation is that O’Neil will be in charge on Monday.

However the situation is fluid, with the board aware of the depth of feeling from fans following last night’s 4-0 thrashing at Everton.

Potter is keen to return to work, however sources close to the former Chelsea boss suggest he would be more interested in the West Ham project than Wolves.

Former Liverpool midfielder Ray Houghton believes Darwin Nunez's poor form is down to a lack of confidence.

The Uruguayan forward has scored just two goals in 11 Premier League appearances this season.

Nunez was far from his best in their 3-3 draw against Newcastle and squandered an excellent chance to score from close range.

Houghton claims that, although he's not firing on all cylinders for the Reds, the fans still appreciate his efforts.

"I think the Liverpool fans love his work rate, if you go to the home games the fans are always signing his name," he told talkSPORT Breakfast.

"It's not through the fact that he's not trying, it's just that it's not quite coming off for him.

But his work rate is there for everyone to see."

Chelsea's 5-1 thrashing of Southampton has helped them achieve a club record.

The Blues emphatically cast the Saints aside on Wednesday night to go second in the Premier League table.

Enzo Maresca's side have played 22 matches across all competitions so far this season and scored a whopping 57 goals.

This is an average of 2.59 goals per game, which is the best goals-per-game ratio for a single season in the club's 119-year history.

Christopher Nkunku, who netted Chelsea's second goal against Southampton, is their top scorer with 11 goals.

Cole Palmer also found the target against the Saints and is second in the standings on nine, with Nicolas Jackson third with eight.

Dimitar Berbatov has joked that Arsenal have taken lessons from Stoke City by becoming dependant on set-pieces.

Both of the Gunners' goals in their 2-0 win against Manchester United on Wednesday night were scored from corners.

Arsenal have netted 22 goals from corners since the beginning of last season, which is the most out of any Premier League team.

Stoke were synonymous with set-piece and throw-in goals in the top flight, with Berbatov likening the Gunners to them.

"Probably, the Premier League is the only league in the world where you have so many players around the goalkeeper, pushing, shoving, making chaos," he said on Amazon Prime.

"Normally there's going to be a foul, but not here, you need to be strong.
