Southampton manager Russell Martin has claimed teenager Tyler Dibling can learn a lot from Adam Lallana.
The 18-year-old was only four months old when former England international Lallana made his Saints debut in 2006.
However, Dibling is now teammates with the 36-year-old, following his return to St Mary's at the start of the summer.
Martin told the Daily Echo: "It can only benefit Tyler - but only if he's willing to learn and be receptive to Adam, which he is.
"Fortunately for us, all the young guys are.
I'm pretty happy with how we're playing our football."

IT'S THAT MAN AGAIN!
If there was any question marks surrounding Emiliano Martinez for Delap's first the Argentine keeper can do nothing about this one!
It's a brilliant counter-attack from the home side led by Omari Hutchinson from inside his own half.
He releases Delap down the left-hand byline who is afforded the space to advance all the way into the Villa box.
There's still a lot for the striker to do but he spins Diego Carlos inside and out with a wonderful step-over.
Delap skips over the Brazilian's trailing leg to the outside before drilling his effort across Martinez into the bottom corner.
He is now the youngest Ipswich player to score more than once in a Premier League game (21y 234d).

Tottenham have won just two of their last 11 Premier League away games without Son Heung-Min (D5 L4).
Both matches that Spurs were missing their captain last season ended in 2-2 (at Old Trafford in January & Goodison Park in February).
Draws against Manchester United will be something Son's replacement Timo Werner is more than familiar with.
The German has settled for a point in all five of his Premier League encounters with the Red Devils with Chelsea and Tottenham.
That's included the most recent meeting with Erik ten Hag's men - the four-goal statemate that Son missed back in January.

Tottenham have been handed a huge blow with club captain Heung-min Son missing out against Manchester United this afternoon.
Spurs had been hopeful that their South Korean skipper would come through a late fitness test after he suffered an injury in midweek.
Son limped out of the Lilywhites’ 3-0 win over Qarabag in the club's Europa League opener on Thursday.
Ange Postecoglou admitted in his pre-match press conference that he was keen to give his talisman every chance of featuring at Old Trafford.
However, Son's absence from the matchday squad has now been confirmed, with Timo Werner given the nod to start instead.

Since the start of last season, no player has provided more Premier League assists than Ollie Watkins (15 - level with Cole Palmer).
But it's another player Chelsea talisman Palmer will undoubtedly continue to be compared to - at least, over his celebration.
The England international is synonymous with the 'cold' pose after scoring, which sees him rub his arms as if feeling the winter weather.
He first did the gesture after scoring two goals in a 3-2 win over Luton Town on December 30, 2023.
However, Palmer himself admitted his reasoning behind it was emulating his former Manchester City academy team-mate Morgan Rogers.
Aston Villa ace Rogers was at the time playing for Middlesbrough and had done the celebration after scoring a winner against West Bromwich Albion in the Championship seven days earlier.
"We've [him and Rogers] had a chat about this," Palmer said to talkSPORT during Euro 2024.
He [Rogers] might have done it, but everybody knows is my celebration."
This is the first Premier League weekend when both friends have had the chance to show off the celebration to the cameras.

The visitors turn it around and it's that man again!
Villa boss Unai Emery had two big decisions to make ahead of kick-off - one on who would replace his injured captain John McGinn.
The other on whether Ollie Watkins would be pushed wide to accomodate Jhon Duran - he's just been vindicated on both counts.
Under Emery, Villa average 1.6 pts/game and have a 43% win rate in the Premier League without McGinn - this is compared to 1.9 pts/game and 59% win rate in the competition with the Scot.
But it's his replacement Leon Bailey who proves pivotal in turning this game on his head.
The Jamaican international gets the assist by standing up a stunning cross that was almost begging to be turned home.
And Watkins duly obliges.
He gets in between Dara O'Shea and Axel Tuanzebe before planting a header home past a stranded Arijanet Muric.

An instant response from the visitors and the original owner of the Cole Palmer celebration has the chance to feel the cold.
It's another mistake that is punished, this time from Jacob Greaves, who initially does well to rob Ollie Watkins of possession.
However, the Ipswich defender then gets a noseblood by attempting to blast the ball clear across his own box.
Instead, it's straight to Rogers, who controls it before playing a one-two with Watkins and then firing a low effort into the far corner.
The 22-year-old follows his goal up by whipping out a celebration seen by Premier League fans for the fifth time this weekend.
Chelsea star Palmer, who is synonymous with the 'shiver' or 'cold' pose, was responsible for the first four but has now taken a backseat after yesterday's goal-scoring heroics to his close friend.

It's a shocker from Emiliano Martinez but Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna won't mind one jot!
The hosts have barely had an attack in the first eight minutes but they find the back of the net from their first venture forwards.
Sam Morsy had a strike from the edge of the area that smacked his own teammate Omari Hutchinson but Villa failed to clear their lines.
The ball is slipped through to Jack Clarke on the left inside the box and his low-cut back is pulled back to an unmarked Delap.
The former Manchester City academy star turns an effort goalwards and it somehow squirms through the grasp of Martinez.
Three of Ipswich's four Premier League goals this season have come in the opening 15 minutes of matches, with two of those by Delap.
It is also a first assist in the top-flight for Clarke on what is his first Premier League start, having failed to appear in the division for former club Tottenham.

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery teased the prospect of starting supersub Jhon Duran in a two-pronged attack with main man Ollie Watkins.
However, it's the same system with only one striker leading the line for the sixth successive Premier League game.
Since Emery’s first Aston Villa game in November 2022, only Erling Haaland (66) and Mohamed Salah (59) have been involved in more Premier League goals than Watkins (53 – 35 goals, 18 assists).
So the Spaniard will be keen to avoid shaking up anything that will cause the England forward's goalscoring form to dry up.
But there's not much else Duran can do to force his way into the picture and surely another goal today will force Emery's hand?

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has revealed the love from the fans helped revitalise Anthony Gordon's stuttering start of the season.
The 23-year-old England star enjoyed his standout performance of the campaign so far in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City.
Gordon, deputising as a false nine in the absence of Alexander Isak, won and then converted the penalty that earned the Magpies a point against the Premier League champions.
The attacker had previously struggled to replicate his form of last year, with just one goal in his first six appearances across all competitions.
Gordon was largely unusued by Gareth Southgate during Euro 2024, while he endured strong summer speculation over a transfer to Liverpool.
However, the former Everton starlet now looks to be signing a new contract at St James' Park, and was hugely buoyed by a pre-match display by 'Wor Flags'.
The fan-led group held up a massive tribute to their No.10 before kick-off, and Gordon - who later said the display was 'memories that will stay with me forever' - also responded on the pitch with a goal.
Head coach Howe said: "Anthony probably needed a bit of love today - of course it's difficult for me to love the players all the time, sometimes you have to give them the opposite in order to get the right responses.
"But ultimately it's really important that we love all our players and we allow them to enter the pitch in a great frame of mind knowing that they're free to make the odd mistake, that they're playing in environment where they feel protected and loved, and I think Anthony's got that."

Jadon Sancho has lavished praise on his new Chelsea teammate Cole Palmer following his record-breaking haul against Brighton.
Palmer scored all of Chelsea's goals in their 4-2 triumph at Stamford Bridge, with his first hat-trick coming in a blistering ten-minute period.
The 22-year-old's second came from the penalty spot after fellow Manchester City academy graduate Sancho had been fouled.
The latter then laid on the assist for Palmer's fourth for the break to make it three goal involvements in three games since leaving Man United.
Sancho also had the ball in the back of the net himself, before he was denied opening his goalscoring account with the Blues by the offside flag.
However, far from being too disappointed, the 24-year-old was keen to keep the focus on his England compatriot after the match.
Sancho claimed anything is possible with Palmer, who was likened to Dennis Bergkamp by Theo Walcott on Match of the Day, in the team.

Mohamed Salah equalled Sergio Aguero’s tally for Premier League goal involvements with his latest strike in Liverpool’s 2-1 win at Wolves.
The Egyptian's second-half penalty on Saturday evening moved him to 231 top-flight contributions for the Reds (159 goals, 72 assists).
Salah is now joint-six with Aguero's haul from his time at Manchester City (184 goals, 47 assists), with only five players recording more.
That means the 32-year-old, who scored two Premier League goals assisted another in his 13 appearances for Chelsea, is averaging a goal contribution at Liverpool every 66.63 minutes.
Salah is now just seven away from eclipsing Lampard's Chelsea haul, with the England hero also turning out for West Ham and Man City.
The forward is pulling further away from the next Liverpool player, with former captain Steven Gerrard scoring 121 goals and assisting 97 in the Premier League for a total of 218.

Ibrahima Konate did score his first Premier League goal, but he has been credited with the error that led to Wolves' equaliser.
The Frenchman also trailed Ryan Gravenberch in ball recoveries, tackles, duels won.
The 22-year-old Dutchman was the first Premier League midfielder to contest more than 5 duels in a match with 100 percent success, make 3+ tackles with 100 percent success (3), and make 50+ passes at 90 percent + accuracy (57/62) since Sandro for Spurs v Blackburn in April 2012.

Alexander Isak could miss up to five matches with a broken toe, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has admitted.
The Swedish striker missed Newcastle’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City after sustaining the initial injury during the 2-1 win over Wolves.
Isak came off at half-time during that game but played through the bain barrier to manage the full 90 minutes in the defeat to Fulham.
He has trained just once in the last fortnight for Newcastle, which saw miss the draw agains the champions at St James Park'.
Toon boss Howe has already ruled Isak out of the Carabao Cup third round match against Wimbledon on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old is a major doubt for the trip to Everton next weekend, and is likely to be rested ahead of the international break.
Sweden will play Slovakia and Estonia in the Nations League but Isak is all but certainly to be left out of the squad to aid his recovery.
Providing an update on Isak’s injury, Howe said: “He definitely won't feature on Tuesday, let’s see how he looks for Everton.
“Of course, there is an international period coming up after that and he’s an international player so we’ll see the implications of all that but we’ll make decisions during this week.
“It’s not a serious injury but it’s a niggly one that is obviously preventing a key player playing for us.”
Callum Wilson is also on the sidelines, meaning that Anthony Gordon is likely to continue leading the line for the Magpies.
Isak was Newcastle's top scorer last season with 25 goals in all competitions, but like many of his teammates, he's started this season slowly, scoring just one Premier League goal.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot waded in on last night's man-of-the-match, with a joking put-down of his goalscoring defender Ibrahima Konate.
France centre-back Konate was miffed he wasn't honoured with the award following the Reds' 2-1 win over Wolves on Saturday.
The 25-year-old scored his first Premier League goal to open the scoring, before making a number of vital blocks late on.
However, Konate was massively culpubale for the mishap that led to Wolves' equaliser while he was also shown a yellow card late on.
Regardless, the former RB Leipzig star questioned Gary Neville's choice to honour Ryan Gravenberch with the man-of-the-match.
But it's fair to say his manager was not in agreement.
Slot told Sky Sports: "Konate?
You have to talk with them I don't know who decides."
When told who had chosen Gravenberch, Konate said: "Gary Neville… thank you, Gary."

Erik ten Hag says he respects the critics and even embraces some of their suggestions as Manchester United's frequently under-fire manager prepares to take on Tottenham.
Sunday sees the stuttering Red Devils welcome Ange Postecoglou's side four days after their deflating 1-1 draw with FC Twente at an expectant Old Trafford.
Ten Hag was annoyed by United's mentality and toothlessness in a Europa League opener that followed a frustrating 0-0 stalemate at Crystal Palace.
Those results, but particularly Wednesday's performance, have increased the noise around United, but Ten Hag has long since learned how to deal with doubters.
"First of all, respect the criticism," the Dutchman said.
I need to know some, and some are very good advice."
After joking with a reporter at the press conference, Ten Hag continued: "But for me it's stay clinical and see where the team is, which areas we have to improve.
"Stay also methodical, that you guide the team in the right pathway and make sure you make the right steps to get the best out of the team."

Liverpool boss Arne Slot feels his side's early ascent to the top of the Premier League is not a "realistic view" of the table.
Life after Jurgen Klopp is not turning out to be too bad as the Reds climbed to the summit after goals from Ibrahima Konate and Mohamed Salah earned a 2-1 win at Wolves - their fifth victory in six league games.
Defeat at home to Nottingham Forest a fortnight ago remains their only blip as they have also won in the Champions League and Carabao Cup in a promising beginning to Slot's reign.
It is early days, but the evidence suggests they have the capacity to challenge for the title alongside Manchester City and Arsenal.
The Dutchman is calling for calm and says the table will not properly shape up until halfway through the campaign.
"Everyone is realistic enough, all the players they understand that six games into the season doesn't give you a realistic view on the league table," Slot said.
"That is more like 19 games that you can feel, 'Right, where are we?'.
"But it helps if you get some good results, especially if you bring in a new manager and being a successor of such a successful one.
"Everybody understands that if we'd have lost four or five of these first six fixtures life would have been a bit different to how it is now."

Mikel Arteta has reiterated he loves Pep Guardiola even after the Manchester City boss' angry response to his former assistant.
Arsenal were criticised for using the 'dark arts' to defend their lead at City last weekend before settling for a 2-2 draw in the dramatic clash.
When asked about those claims during the week, Arteta appeared to refer to his spell with Guardiola in the dugout, saying: "I was there for four years.
