The Premier League have announced that Liverpool’s clash against Aston Villa will be the first to use the new and final Nike matchball of the season.
The Reds travel to Villa Park to take on Unai Emery’s side on Wednesday night (7.30pm kick-off).
The game gives Liverpool the chance to move 10 points clear of Arsenal in second place in the Premier League title race.
It will also be a chance to see the new ball in action for the first time.
The Nike Flight Ball will be used for games between now and the end of the 2024/25 Premier League season.
The ball is a re-imagined design of the iconic Nike Total 90s football as Nike celebrates it’s 25th year of being the official ball supplier of the league.
