Referee Andy Madley consults VAR during Everton's draw against Manchester United(Image: PA)
The Premier League has chosen not to punish VAR lead official Matt Donohue nor referee Andy Madley following Everton's controversial draw with Manchester United on Saturday.
With the scores locked at 2-2, the Blues thought they had won a penalty when Ashley Young looked to have been tugged to the ground by either Harry Maguire or Matthijs de Ligt.
Madley initially gave the spot kick but was requested to head to his monitor by Donohue.
After seeing several different angles, the referee chose to overturn his decision and award a drop ball in favour of United.
Everton fans were understandably livid at full-time, particularly when an angle from through the goal showed De Ligt had pulled on Young's shirt.
It has been widely accepted that the officials did make a mistake at Goodison Park at the weekend and previously the PGMOL has chosen to drop those who have been considered to have made errors.

However, the Premier League has chosen to appoint Donohue and Madley for the upcoming round of weekday fixtures in the Premier League.
Donohue will notably be the lead VAR for Liverpool's clash with Newcastle United at Anfield as well as Brighton and Hove Albion's home game against AFC Bournemouth.
As for Madley, he will be the man in the middle on Wednesday night when Nottingham Forest host Arsenal at the City Ground.
