Manchester City have, reportedly, been told to stop moaning about the Club World Cup ahead of the upcoming tournament in the United States.
Both City and Chelsea have qualified for the newly expanded competition after winning the Champions League in recent years.
Liverpool have missed out on the tournament, but could well be happy about that fact considering the chaos it is likely to cause those who are involved.
The competition will begin on June 14 and should City or Chelsea reach the final, they will be in action until July 13.
Little over a month after the Club World Cup final, the new Premier League season will begin leading to frustration from England's participating teams.
Pep Guardiola confirmed that his club had appealed to the Premier League for a delayed start to their season, but this was rejected by officials.

Explaining the decision, the Premier League's chief football officer Tony Scholes said: "We're having this imposed upon us, particularly by Fifa, so that there's an element of saying why adjust our competition when we've been imposed with a competition we don't agree with.
The calendar is squeezed as much as it can be - at the moment - and we can't afford a delay to the start of the season."
According to The Times, one chief executive of a rival Premier League club has told City to accept that decision by the Premier League and 'stop moaning'.
The final match of the season is scheduled for May 25 with the earliest Premier League fixture in 2025/26 set for August 16.
