As Liverpool's tough run of games ends at home to Newcastle this week, Arsenal begins a difficult run of its own with a trip to Nottingham Forest, before an away game against Manchester United and a London derby against Chelsea all in the next three games.
Bettingexpert's supercomputer, BETSiE, gives Arsenal a 2.6 per cent chance of winning the league, while the teams in third place and below are given no chance at all of catching Liverpool.
Liverpool is tipped to end the campaign on 87 points, 12 ahead of Arsenal on 75, with Manchester City, Chelsea and Nottingham Forest rounding out the top five with 67, 64 and 63 points respectively.
At the other end of the table, the supercomputer seemingly thinks that the bottom three is virtually confirmed, with Leicester given a 95 per cent chance of relegation, Ipswich given a 97 per cent chance of relegation, and Southampton given a 100 per chance of relegation.
Southampton has collected just nine points all season and currently sits at the bottom of the table, 13 points from safety, while Ipswich and Leicester are both on 17 points, five points from safety.
Manchester United is handed a 0.1 per cent chance of being relegated amid the horrendous season it is having, and the supercomputer predicts that the Red Devils will end the campaign in 15th position on 47 points.
