Former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is reportedly in the running to return to management.
The 64-year-old has been out of work since leaving La Liga outfit Celta Vigo last year.
Benitez won two major trophies during his time as Liverpool manager from 2004 to 2010, including the famous Champions League win in Istanbul in 2005.
The Spaniard also spent a little over six months in charge of Everton in the first half of the 2021/22 season, which was his last job in English football.
Now it seems that Benitez could be set for a return to the UK, but north of the border rather than in the Premier League.
The Daily Record have reported that Glasgow Rangers are expressing an interest in appointing Benitez as their new manager.

Should Benitez be appointed, he would go on to follow in the footsteps of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard in managing at Ibrox.
Gerrard spent three years in charge at the Glasgow club, winning the Scottish Premiership title before going on to manage Aston Villa and Saudi Pro League outfit Al Ettifaq.
