Lyon star Rayan Cherki continues to be linked with a move to Liverpool as the January transfer window nears.
The Reds have been credited with an interest in several potential new signings ahead of the window opening in the New Year.
Arne Slot has been enjoying his first full season as Liverpool's new head coach following the departure of Jurgen Klopp in the summer.
It remains to be seen, though, if Slot believes that he needs to add reinforcements to his squad in January.
Cherki is one of several players to be linked with a move to Liverpool ahead of the New Year.
The 21-year-old can play either as a left or ring winger as well as in the No.10 role, with reports from France claiming that the Reds could make an attempt to bring Cherki to Anfield in the weeks ahead.

Here, the ECHO takes a look at the latest updates concerning the rumoured interest from Liverpool in Lyon's Rayan Cherki.
Cherki is a 21-year-old playmaker who has been with Lyon since he joined the club in 2010 when he was just seven years old.
Since then, Cherki has progressed through the club's academy before eventually making his Ligue 1 debut at the age of 16 in October 2019
Cherki has been widely tipped for a bright future in the game and to follow in the footsteps of Eden Hazard and Hatem Ben Arfa with his playing style.
RMC Sport has claimed that Lyon have set an asking price of €30 million (£25 million) ahead of the January transfer window.
Transfermarkt currently value Cherki at €20 million (£16.7 million), and it remains to be seen if Lyon will increase their price tag for the playmaker in the weeks or months ahead.
At the moment, Liverpool are the only club mentioned as reportedly having an interest in signing Cherki.
It was reported in the summer, though, that both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain had added Cherki to their transfer shortlists.
Cherki signed a new contract with Lyon in September to extend his stay at Lyon.
The fresh terms see Cherki commit his future to the Ligue 1 club until the summer of 2026, with reports suggesting the deal also includes the option of a further year.
Before the extension, Cherki's contract was set to expire at the end of the season, but Lyon moved quickly to ensure they avoid losing the talent as a free agent.
