As if Trent Alexander-Arnold moving to Real Madrid wasn’t bad enough, the Spanish giant could pile on the misery for Liverpool this summer by signing one of its transfer targets.

Alexander-Arnold looks to be on the verge of swapping Anfield for the Bernabeu, with reports of his move to Spain coming to a head on Tuesday.

Various outlets have suggested that terms have already been agreed, and while other reports claim Real still needs to finalize a deal, it does seem inevitable that the right-back will be heading to Madrid.

Confirmation is yet to come from Liverpool or Real, and there are suggestions that Alexander-Arnold may be delaying an announcement as the Reds push for the Premier League title.
