Ryan Gravenberch once again impressed under Arne Slot as Liverpool thrashed Bayer Leverkusen 4-0.
Anfield played host to the Champions League clash, with Luis Diaz the standout for Liverpool thanks to his hat-trick.
Diaz scored all three of his goals in the second half, with his fellow Liverpool attacker Cody Gakpo also netting after the break.
Xabi Alonso expertly quietened Anfield early on, but the Bayer Leverkusen manager quickly fell victim to the electric atmosphere on Merseyside.
A moment of brilliance was required to split the sides, and that was produced by Curtis Jones in the 61st minute, much to the delight of Arne Slot.

Midfield ace Jones slid an expert through ball to Diaz, with the Colombian finishing the move off with a sublime chip.
Jones’s fellow midfielder Gravenberch has now shared his amazement at the through ball, praising the academy graduate and indeed the goalscorer.
“Even I didn’t see the pass,” said Gravenberch, as quoted by the Liverpool website.
“Curtis is a really good player and he did a really good job today.
