Liverpool are in a good place in terms of injury management as they head towards the last third of the season.
The Reds have had some tough times regarding squad availability over recent years and it has been a welcome change to have players fit for the majority of the campaign.
After Trent Alexander-Arnold returned for Wednesday night’s Merseyside Derby, there is little to worry about within the Liverpool squad.
Nevertheless, there is still one problem for Arne Slot to deal with, the Reds do not have a totally clean bill of health.
After picking up a shoulder problem, Tyler Morton has been out for the past two weeks.
And according to a new update on Morton, the Liverpool academy graduate looks set to miss a whole lot longer.

Morton has had a frustrating season at Liverpool.
Having returned from two successful Championship loans, the 22-year-old has played only five times.
A January deadline day move to Middlesbrough did not get over the line and after failing to get his transfer, Morton looked likely to sit on the bench for the remainder of the year.
However, things have now taken another turn for the midfielder.

As per The Daily Mail, Morton is set for surgery on his injured shoulder and could be ruled out for up to three months.
That would take Liverpool up to the end of the season, and it’s claimed that with Morton fully focused on recovering in time for the summer, he is ‘largely expected’ to depart Anfield in the transfer window.

Liverpool are said to have put a £20m price-tag on the England U21 star last year, but saw no takers at that valuation.
It remains to be seen whether the Reds lower their asking price after a year of inactivity for Morton.
In the meantime, the No.78 is claimed to have sustained the injury playing for Liverpool against Southampton back in December but continued to play before deciding on surgery.
If Liverpool could rewind the clock, then they would surely have accepted a loan move for Morton during last summer’s window.
Although he has shown his quality during five appearances under Slot, the youngster’s development has likely stagnated as a result of not playing.
Nevertheless, there is likely to be plenty of interest in Morton who has more than proven himself at Championship level already.
Either way, it now looks virtually certain that he has played his final game for Liverpool.
If that is the end for Tyler, he can look back with pride on his 14 appearances for his boyhood club.
