Tuesday night saw Juventus crash out of the Champions League at the hands of PSV Eindhoven with the Serie A giants losing 4-3 on aggregate to the Dutch club.

The Italian club’s exit, along with the uncertainty over whether they will qualify for the tournament next season, may force Juve to sell some of their key assets this summer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus hope to bring in over £83m (€100m) ahead of the 2025/26 campaign and in order to achieve that are willing to part ways with Andrea Cambiaso and Dusan Vlahovic.

If the Serie A club cannot raise these funds with the two players, another option they have is to sell Yildiz and although that Italian club do not want to lose the 19-year-old, they would not be able to refuse an offer of around £75m (€90m).

The report states that super agent Jorge Mends was recently spotted in a well-known restaurant in Turin first with Juventus’ director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli and then with Yildiz’s family.

It is believed that the Portuguese agent informed Juventus of the growing interest in Yildiz ahead of the summer from the likes of Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United.

Saudi Arabia showed strong interest in Darwin Nunez during the January transfer window and the Uruguayan is expected to leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old may not be the only attacker heading for the exit door at Anfield as it is being suggested that Liverpool may not offer Luiz Diaz a new contract with his current deal expiring in 2027.

Liverpool have held talks over a deal for Ademola Lookman but the signing of Yildiz would be a much better option given his age and potential.

The Turkish star received praise from Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero earlier this season on Sky Sport Italia via Il Bianco Nero, with the winger having one of his goals described as ‘spectacular’ by the Italian pundit.
