Liverpool are set for big transfer window, with virtually every position set for an overhaul over the summer.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is already closing in on a move to Real Madrid whilst Liverpool have managed to get some business done by tying down Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk to new two-year long contracts.
With Jamie Carragher urging Liverpool to make six new signings, there’s a real chance that a record amount could be spent at Anfield this summer with a number of big-name players also potentially heading out the exit door.
And a former Manchester United director is now looking to sell one player to Liverpool this summer.

According to Il Giorno, Atalanta’s new director of global development and former United football director John Murtough is keen to sell Ademola Lookman to Liverpool, with the Serie A side ready to offload a number of valuable players to the Premier League this summer.
Lookman has been linked with Liverpool in the past with the Bergamo-based club demanding £50m for the Nigeria international, who is expected to leave Atalanta this summer having fallen out with manager Gian Piero Gasperini.
With Danny Murphy suggesting that Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez could leave Liverpool this summer, Lookman could be an ideal replacement for the pair given the forward’s versatility and previous Premier League experience with Fulham and Everton.

And with Atalanta director Murtough eager to sell Lookman to an English side, Liverpool could be wise to move fast for the striker, who could work well in Arne Slot’s attacking system alongside Salah next season.
With Atalanta demanding £50m for Lookman, Liverpool know they have a chance to return to form by trying to strike a bargain deal with the Serie A side for the attacker, especially if they’re eager to sell the former RB Leipzig man.
Lookman has been described as a powerful player having led Atalanta to a historic UEFA Europa League triumph last year, and with Liverpool, the forward could be quite the addition to Slot’s ranks if Jota and Nunez are sold.
Indeed, Lookman has all the tools to flourish at Liverpool, and if the Reds can negotiate a good fee with Atalanta, the former Charlton Athletic man could be quite the coup for the Anfield side heading into next season.
