Vitezslav Jaros has this season been promoted to third-choice keeper at Liverpool, and the 23-year-old has impressed.
Given the nature of the role, first-team minutes have been extremely hard to find for the Czech Republic international, yet Jaros will look back at this season as a success having made his debut for Liverpool and his first start for the Reds.
With Jaros set to sign a new contract with Liverpool, it’s clear that the Anfield side highly rate the former Slavia Prague talent, even with Giorgi Mamardashvili returning from his loan spell at Valencia this summer and Caoimhin Kelleher likely to leave Merseyside.
And ahead of Jaros putting pen to paper on a new deal with the Reds, Liverpool appear to already have a plan in place for the goalkeeping prospect for next season.

According to Czech publication Infobal, Liverpool already have plans in place to loan out Jaros to a club in one of Europe’s top-five leagues, with the Reds having no intention of selling the 23-year-old for quite some time.
Jaros has been lauded as a ‘terrific’ talent with the youngster impressing in his two appearances for Liverpool this season, though it’s clear that the shot-stopper won’t become a regular at Anfield for quite some time with Alisson Becker still at the top of his game.
Indeed, a good case can be made that Liverpool have the best array of goalkeeping options out of any club in Europe, with Alisson regarded as one of the best in the world and the Reds this summer having Mamardashvili return on loan.

And for Jaros, heading out on loan to a club in a top-five European league could work wonders for the youngster’s development, with first-team minutes needed if the 23-year-old is to stand a chance at becoming a regular at Liverpool in the future.
It feels like every season there’s one or two players Liverpool send out on loan who end up becoming superstars in their own right, with this year seeing Ben Doak become a hit in the Championship with Middlesbrough under Michael Carrick.
And with Liverpool preparing to loan out Jaros next season, the Czech Republic international could become the next loan sensation for the Reds, with the youngster more than ready to become a regular away from Anfield.
Jaros has been patiently waiting for his big break at the highest level in Europe, and next season could see the 23-year-old finally have a chance to show the world just how good he in one of the best divisions in the game.
