Liverpool look likely to be busy this summer as they try to build on what is set to be an excellent campaign.
The Reds are probable Premier League champions in waiting and have designs on going deep in the Champions League, too.
But regardless of how many trophies Liverpool pick up in May, the squad will seemingly undergo some relatively major surgery during the summer.
Right towards the top of Arne Slot’s wanted list is likely to be a new left-back.
Andy Robertson has struggled at times this season, with the 30-year-old no longer the force he once was.
As a result, Liverpool have been linked with numerous left-backs, including Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez and Rayan Ait Nouri of Wolves.
However, according to the latest rumours, Antonee Robinson could be the player right at the top of Liverpool’s list.

Liverpool have been linked with Robinson plenty of times during what has been a standout campaign from the 27-year-old.
Only Mohamed Salah has registered more than the 10 assists Robinson can claim during the 2024/25 Premier League season.

Two of those came at Anfield in December during what manager Marco Silva described as an ‘unbelievable performance’ from Robinson up against Salah.
And according to Give Me Sport, Liverpool have been impressed enough to make the USA international a top target.

It’s claimed that Liverpool are now ‘expected’ to make a bid for Robinson but will face stiff competition from Chelsea for his services.
Fulham are also said to be desperate to keep hold of the left-back, and will only sanction a move if they have a replacement lined up.
Given his good form this season, Fulham will reportedly demand around £40m to let Robinson leave.
Although £40m sounds like a lot to pay for a left-back who will turn 28 in August, there are reasons why Robinson’s signing could make sense for Liverpool.
The former Everton player has been one of the most creative full-backs in the Premier League this season, and with Liverpool set to lose Trent Alexander-Arnold, they could do with one of those for next year.
Given his age and experience, Robinson is also likely to be seen as a ‘plug in and play’ addition, who could make the step to Liverpool without too much bedding in needed.
Younger options such as Kerkez or Ait Nouri may be preferred by fans, but both are likely to go through periods of adaptation as they grow into their potential.
At 27, Robinson is more or less the finished article.
Liverpool clearly think so, and this feels like one which is worth keeping an eye on.
