Liverpool are now focused on the summer transfer window having secured the Premier League title on Sunday.
A 5-1 win against Tottenham wrapped up the English championship for the Reds as Arne Slot etched his name into Liverpool folklore, with the Dutch coach now tasked with going one better next season after a summer of spending.
With Paul Scholes suggesting that Liverpool need six new signings, there’s a real chance that the Anfield side could look completely transformed heading into the new campaign, with some big-name players also expected to depart.
And Liverpool could now be about to make an audacious last-minute move for one of the most in-demand free agents this summer.

According to TeamTalk, Liverpool could still make a late move for LOSC Lille striker Jonathan David despite Inter Milan intensifying their pursuit for the Canada international, who is set to become a free agent this summer.
David has once again been in sensational form for the Ligue 1 side this season with the 25-year-old attacker scoring 25 goals and bagging 11 assists in all competitions for Les Dogues, with the forward set to secure a big move this summer.
Liverpool have been linked with David leading into the transfer window, with the former KAA Gent star also wanted by the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle United having made a name for himself as one of the most consistent goalscorers in France in recent years.

And with Darwin Nunez expected to leave Liverpool this summer, David could be a dream replacement for the Uruguay international, though interest from the likes of Inter could make a deal hard to pull off for the Reds at this stage.
Noted by Theo Bair as an ‘unbelievably fast’ attacker as per the Athletic, Liverpool’s interest in David is more than valid, with the Canadian international a regular goalscorer for one of the best teams in France and a player who is ready for the step up in his career.
However, with Inter looking to secure David’s signature as soon as possible, Liverpool might have left it too late to bring the Brooklyn-born attacker to Anfield, even with Nunez’s departure looking nailed on at this stage.
Indeed, David ticks all the boxes for what Liverpool are looking for in a new striker, yet the ship might have already sailed with Inter pushing hard to sign the Lille superstar, who could be tempted with a move to the San Siro.
