Liverpool have quite the reputation for hoovering up some of the best talents in England, and this trend looks set to continue into this summer.
The upcoming transfer window is expected to be a massive one for the Reds, with Jamie Carragher suggesting that Liverpool could make six signings as Arne Slot looks to improve his squad ahead of his second season on Merseyside.

According to iNews, Liverpool scouts have been watching Sunderland teenager Chris Rigg, who this season as established himself as one of the most exciting talents in England after emerging as a key player for the Championship play-off hopefuls.
As per the report, though, Everton are also firmly in the mix for the 17-year-old England youth international, with a number of other Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Rigg heading into the summer.
Sunderland’s youngest ever-goalscorer, Rigg has caught the attention of Liverpool this season with the midfielder expected to win a big move to the English top-flight this summer, where the Reds will be eager to land the teenage sensation.

And with Liverpool scouts still keeping tabs on Rigg, there’s a real chance that the Reds could make a move for the youngster in the transfer window, where the 17-year-old could become an immediate member of Slot’s first-team.
With almost 3,000 minutes played this season and fueling Sunderland’s bid to finally return to the Premier League after nine years away, there’s a good reason why Rigg has become as coveted as he is leading into the summer.
And if Liverpool can win the race for the central midfielder, the Reds could have a player who can feature on a regular basis for the Anfield giants for the next decade, with Rigg destined for stardom in the Premier League.
Indeed, the 17-year-old is the most exciting talent in the Championship this season, and a move to a club like Liverpool is more than deserved for Rigg, who could well be an England international in the next 12 months if his development continues at this current pace.
