Liverpool will be one of the biggest players in the summer transfer window this year, with Dean Huijsen a target for the Reds.
The AFC Bournemouth centre-back has been one of the breakout stars in the Premier League this season, with Huijsen becoming a key player for Andoni Iraola’s side having joined the Cherries from Juventus last summer.
And leading into the transfer window, the 20-year-old defender has quickly become one of the most in-demand players in Europe, with Liverpool one of many clubs interested in signing Huijsen as Arne Slot looks to add to his centre-back options.
Yet Liverpool signing Huijsen could now result in one player leaving Anfield this summer.

According to TalkSport, Jarell Quansah could leave Liverpool if the Reds beat the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid for Huijsen, with Newcastle United interested in signing the England international this summer.
Huijsen has been rumoured with an exit from Liverpool in recent weeks with the 22-year-old centre-back yet to really impress under Slot this season, with the defender a player who could be sold to help bring in funds to improve the squad.
Although Virgil van Dijk hailed Quansah as ‘fantastic’, the Liverpool academy graduate hasn’t shown too much promise this year that he could become a mainstay for the Reds in the years to come, hence why players like Huijsen are being targeted by the Anfield side.

And if Liverpool do indeed win the race for the Spanish international, selling Quansah could be a good decision from the Reds, especially with the likes of Newcastle and Inter Milan interested in signing the youngster.
Liverpool were once the masters of the transfer market, capable of getting incredible deals for top names whilst also being able to sell their own players for maximum value to the perfect club in the cover of darkness.
And Liverpool signing Huijsen and selling Quansah would be a return to form for the Reds, with this potential outcome a dream scenario for the Anfield side heading into next season, given how major an upgrade the 20-year-old would be on the English defender.
Indeed, Huijsen is on course to become one of the best centre-backs in the world in the next few years, and Liverpool securing the Amsterdam-born talent’s signature whilst offloading Quansah would be quite the move from the Reds.
