Darwin Nunez is expected to leave Liverpool at the end of the season after Al-Nassr showed interest in the Reds striker in January.
The sale of the Uruguayan would help raise funds for a replacement, and it is believed that Liverpool have already made contact with one of their targets currently playing in the Premier League.

Alexander Isak is Liverpool’s main target for the striker role in their squad next season as the Newcastle star is the perfect fit for Arne Slot’s system and is in the form of his life this season at St James’ Park.
Liverpool have also been linked with Joao Pedro in recent weeks as the Brazilian star is also a great fit for the Reds, as the forward plays in a similar way to club legend Roberto Firmino.
According to a new report from CaughtOffside, Liverpool have made contact with Pedro’s team to discuss the possibility of a move during the summer as the Brazilian offers the Reds a solid alternative to Isak should Newcastle demand an extremely high transfer fee.
The Brighton striker could be available for around £42m (€50m), which is much cheaper than what is being quoted for the Swedish talent.

The report states that Liverpool will face competition from Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Manchester United for the 23-year-old; however, it is still early days in the race for his signature.
Pedro is having a very good season at Brighton as the Brazilian has produced eight goals and seven assists across 25 appearances throughout the 2024/25 campaign.
The Brighton star would be a great fit for Liverpool as remains to be seen if the Reds approach the Seagulls with an official offer.
