Trent Alexander-Arnold’s Liverpool career looks to be coming to an end.
The Reds right-back is out of contract at the end of the season and after months of speculation, it is looking like Alexander-Arnold will join Real Madrid this summer once his contract at Anfield expires.
According to GIVEMESPORT, Liverpool are not guaranteed to recruit a new right-back option in the summer as a result.
However, the Premier League leaders are showing interest in Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong and Newcastle United full-back Tino Livramento.
Frimpong has been in contact with Slot in recent weeks as the 24-year-old had been linked with a move to Liverpool for some time.

The Newcastle star is younger, has Premier League experience and showed he his capable of playing on the biggest of stages as Slot would have been impressed with how the defender shut down Mohamed Salah during the Carabao Cup final.
The report states Liverpool are aware that Newcastle are highly unlikely to sanction the England star’s departure this summer as Eddie Howe considers him untouchable as he continues to impress since making the £40m move to St James’ Park from Southampton in 2023.
This could leave Liverpool to move on to their alternatives, which the Merseyside club have many, should they opt to add to their right-back position ahead of next season.
Should Bradley be handed the reins at Liverpool, the Reds will need to decide whether they want to support the Northern Ireland international by adding a youngster or a more experienced talent to their squad.
Feyenoord’s Givairo Read has been linked to Liverpool a lot in recent months as the 18-year-old is a talent that is known to Slot having worked with the youngster in the Netherlands.
Should the Premier League leaders go down the more experienced route, Nottingham Forest’s Ola Aina could be an option for Liverpool as the right-back becomes a free agent at the end of the current season.
