Liverpool are set for a busy summer, where the Reds are expected to do plenty of business with AFC Bournemouth.
The Cherries have been one of the surprise packages in the Premier League this season, with Andoni Iraola putting Bournemouth on the road to European qualification with six games left to go in what would be one of the biggest achievements from any English team this campaign.
As a result of Bournemouth’s form, a number of players have been linked with a move to Anfield, with Liverpool the favourites to sign Milos Kerkez as the Reds also find themselves in the mix to land Dean Huijsen, who in particular has taken the Premier League by storm.
Yet there is a third Bournemouth player who has appeared on Liverpool’s radar, yet signing him could be a bridge too far for Arne Slot’s side.

According to GiveMeSport, Bournemouth are demanding a club-record fee for Antoine Semenyo, with the attacker on Liverpool’s radar after a sensational season with the Cherries that has also attracted interest from Manchester United and Tottenham.
Michael Owen lauded Semenyo as ‘brilliant’ with the Ghana international enjoying his best year yet in the Premier League, with the former Bristol City man playing a key role in Bournemouth’s push for a European finish.
And Semenyo’s form has brought interest from Liverpool, who are viewing the Cherries attacker as a possible replacement for Luis Diaz, who this week has been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.

However, with Bournemouth demanding a record fee for Semenyo, Liverpool could reconsider other attacking options, especially with the Reds in the market for a number of new signings to improve the entire squad.
With Diaz rumoured with a move to Saudi Arabia and Darwin Nunez linked with an exit from Liverpool, a new attacker is likely to come in this summer, with a centre-forward a top priority for the Reds in the window.
And as good as Semenyo has been in the Premier League this season for Bournemouth, the Cherries demanding a club-record fee for the former Championship star could all-but end Liverpool’s interest in the attacker.
As noted, Liverpool are set to bring in numerous signings across the entire squad ahead of a Premier League title defence, and blowing close to £70m on Semenyo would be viewed by many fans as a waste of money, with cheaper options out there in the market.
