Liverpool face PSG this week in an all-star UEFA Champions League clash, where Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is set to be involved.
The Georgian international joined the French giants in the January transfer window despite rumours that Liverpool were interested in signing Kvaratskhelia, who whilst at Napoli established himself as one of the best wingers in world football.
With two goals and four assists in ten games for PSG since signing, it’s been a good start to life in Ligue 1 for the 24-year-old forward, with Liverpool already being told that they’d regret not signing Kvaratskhelia in January despite their options in the attack.
Indeed, Kvaratskhelia could play a big role in PSG’s hopes of beating Liverpool in this exciting Champions League series, yet a decision has already been made on whether or not the former Napoli star will even start tomorrow night in the French capital.

According to L’Equipe, Kvaratskhelia is expected to start tomorrow’s game at the Parc de Prances on the bench, with Luis Enrique set to opt for Desire Doue in the attack against Liverpool, who in recent weeks has been in top form for the Ligue 1 side.
PSG have won their last ten games going into this week’s tie with Liverpool, with the French giants arguably the in-form side in Europe at the moment having found their stride in a big way since the turn of the year.
With Liverpool told that PSG have a player who is currently better than Mohamed Salah, this Champions League tie is set to be a big one for the Reds, who will be focused on winning a seventh European title with the Premier League all-but wrapped up.

Kvaratskhelia is rightfully regarded as one of the best attackers in world football, with the Georgia international one of the most sought after players in the game before making the move to PSG this January over Liverpool.

Yet when compared to Liverpool’s forwards this season, Kvaratskhelia ends up on the low end of the goal contribution spectrum, with only Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa scoring fewer goals than the PSG superstar in all competitions.
Indeed, Kvaratskhelia knows how big an opportunity this Champions League series against Liverpool will be for his PSG career, and the winger will want to show his best against a side that many consider the best in the world right now.
