Robin van Persie has opened up about following the "legacy" left by Liverpool boss Arne Slot during his time at Feyenoord.
Slot enjoyed three years as manager at the Eredivisie club before going on to replace Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
Slot has been enjoying an impressive start to life as Liverpool's new head coach, with the club top of the Premier League table with a 13-point advantage over Arsenal.
The Reds are also in the Champions League last-16 where they will face Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg on Wednesday.
Feyenoord recently appointed Van Persie as their new manager, with the former Arsenal and Manchester United striker previously in charge of fellow Eredivisie outfit Heerenveen.
Van Persie worked at Feyenoord during Slot's time as manager of the first-team, with the former striker working with the Dutch club's youth teams at the time.

Slot's exit at Feyenoord last summer led to him being replaced by Brian Priske as the club's manager.
However, the former Sparta Prague boss would last a little over six months in the role before leaving Rotterdam last month and being replaced by Van Persie a couple of weeks later.
Van Persie has opened up about the impact that Slot had at Feyenoord and why he and the Eredivisie outfit are "proud" of the success that he is enjoying at Liverpool.

"We should all be very proud that Arne has worked here at Feyenoord for three years," Van Persie told The Mirror.
"He did a really great job, absolutely raised the level, and if you see how he is doing now at Liverpool that is really something we are proud of.
I am happy to continue the work with his legacy.
"I won’t suffer from it, on the contrary, I see it as a plus because a number of players who worked under Arne know the patterns I like to see."
