Manchester City star Rodri was spotted congratulating Liverpool players in the tunnel following their victory at the Etihad.

Master-classes from both Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai helped the Reds to a comfortable victory over the fallen Premier League champions.

Despite these two sides being fierce rivals in recent years, the match at the Etihad was no competition.

A player who Pep Guardiola has undoubtedly missed this season is Rodri.

The Spanish midfielder was injured in only his third game of the season against Arsenal.
